I went to a twister whistle in Buffalo Grove and got what deserve. So I went over to this 2001 for the weekly growl test, just to have some fun before the first Tuesday test and well, things clearly didn't go as planned. So it hits 8:10, tones come through and...NOTHING. At least I caught the polling at the end which makes up for it. This is also the only siren in BG's system that plays the tones through its radio, so because of that, I also put my phone under the siren to see if it would pick up the FSK which it did. I later found out that the reason it failed was because it misread the tones and they only send out the activation command once, as everything else growled just fine. Sucks though, as after all this is a 2001 with a Fulton radio. I would check up on this thing tomorrow after the siren test to see if it has rotated. Anyway, hope you all enjoy!

Yeah. I don’t like it at all when 2001s fail. Especially ones that have Fulton radios as those are supposed to be very reliable. I’ll check up on it tomorrow and see if it rotated bc tomorrow is the day of the full test. I’m going to a PN-20 for it btw

@@vcvcf1896 yeah it has a good track record so I was surprised it failed a growl test like that. It apparently just misread the tones which is the reason why it failed. Hopefully I see that it has rotated tomorrow bc if not, I would be reporting it
