It's fun because in another video you can see her rehearsing this piece. It's so seamless. It's hard to believe she's so young. It seems like with ballet there's no guarantee about future success because it requires so much of the dancers and some girls might choose to give up doing it, but if Victoria sticks with it she's going to be brilliant as an adult.

@@coochiedestroyer5_I’m currently doing ballet.Based on what I know, you can, it’s only if the ballerina is ready for it (their feet are strong enough)but it could be risky and could cause serious injuries.
@@pixie_moons yeah exactly. based on the videos i’ve seen over on eva’s youtube channel she seems strong enough to be en pointe. i’m sure her teachers and parents wouldn’t allow her to do so if she wasn’t ready.
She did this variation to perfection I also love that she did it without pointe shoes, it really fits this one

Victoria is just so natural!! Clearly she works really hard and has tremendous drive and focus but her pure love and passion for dance shines through as well making her one of (if not THE MOST) dynamic young dancer I’ve seen recently!
She's such a bright little star! Watching her dance never fails to bring me joy ❤
Beautiful, and I LOVE seeing young dancers competing on flat. There is no need to push girls to go on pointe early.
I think she trains en pointe but doesn’t compete. She might not have been en pointe long enough? But I totally agree with you!
@@alwaysrootingfortheantihero123 I think back in the day the standard was to start pointe at 11-12 years (I know I got mine at 12), so I'm sure she is en pointe, but I am glad to see she is not rushing it!
dancers in the 9-11 category at YAGP aren't even allowed to compete on pointe, maybe it's similar at this competition
I can't imagine how good she will be in a couple years when she'll be one of the older girls 🤩

really liked the arms. really nice control, arms seemed to flow and yet are not stiff. i have seen many performances of this variation in competition videos (eg. yagp) and the arms are always so stiff :(

Lovely, engaging performance, but I do hope she is not en pointe until the vital strength, which should be slowly built up, is solid as a rock. That way a bright career is assured for her, before overdoing the competition trail takes its toll. Best wishes to her.

I have been in ballet for 7 years, I started at 4, you can imagine my age. My dream will always be to dance this well, but instead I feel like I look like a fool dancing, everyone tells me no, but I don't know, sometimes my movements are very... how can I say it, they are not so delicate, but when I dance I concentrate too much, that makes me not look so delicate, and my hands and movements become dry or rough so to speak. I don't know what to do. Any tips or help you can give me? 😢😢
