Hello scaffoal, Thank you for this video !!! I am very happy to see that jewelers like you are still making jewelry by hand. What a pleasure to see the stamping !!! I hope this piece of jewelry will go through many generations and the pride of wearing a handmade jewelry. Have a good day fred
I know I keep saying this, but it is a HUGE privilege to watch a master craftsman work. You, sir, are a genius. It's a cherished dream of mine to be able to own one of your amazing works.
Wow. Just wow. I have taken jewellery metal smithing, so I know each move that you make look relatively “easy” is the touch of a master craftsman. So much can go wrong, and you are just amazing!
Thank you so much for these videos! You have inspired me to start my very one jewellery channel showing the process of the hand fabrication method aswell. Once again thank, I never would have thought about posting on CZcams if it weren’t for your channel :)
Again ...WOW! Every video shows something different that makes me go ...''So THAT'S how it's done!!'' Every little thing ...from scratch! Each piece is unique, and original, AND you are doing REALLY GREAT camera angles TOO! l hope you get paid WELL! You deserve every penny! :)
I love snakes,I love 18k gold, and I love black opals (they are my birth stone and they are lovely),so naturally I love this brooch! I want it,lol. Nice work!
Thank you. I can not post a video a week. I try to publish videos that always have something different from the others in the various stages of the work.
Wow! your craft is so amazing. I could loose consciousness of time watching your tutorials. I am blown away by your creativity Sir....wow! wow!! wow!!!
Que bonita joya, me gustó mucho es una bella pieza,..!! Muy interesante y muy entretenido video, cómo tú sabes hacerlos Scaffoal..!! Saludos brother..!
I mainly have a local clientele and people who have known me by word of mouth. From experience it takes from 4 to 5 years to be able to start a new business and to be known. today they can help contacts through the internet and social networks.
The piece you created was beautiful and it was very interesting to watch your technique. I'm curious about the clasp end of the pin. I've never seen that type of clasp and was wondering if you make that or if that is something you purchased. If you have a video showing how you make that push clasp I would like to see that.
Hermosa pieza de joyería. Trabajas solo con oro o también con otros metales preciosos como el paladio, platino, plata, bronce y cobre? Gracias. Beautiful jewelry piece. Do you work with gold only or you also use other precious metals like palladium, platinum, silver, bronze and cooper? Thank you.
Sorry. I didn't mean to pick on you. It's just that it never fails that people complain about the music. I don't like it much myself so I turn off the sound.
1mmickk Maybe you can answer part of a question from another viewer above, wondering what a piece like this would cost. Of course we don't know about the production cost, but how much would a stone like that cost? =)
The price of gems may vary greatly from market to market. having no longer available a black opal like that of the brooch, I will not come back to tell you a price
scaffoal Oh, I completely understand. I was just wondering if the gentleman above who said he had some experience with opals may fortune a guess. I understand that the particular stone in this video was the property of the commissioner of the piece, and it would be highly inappropriate for you to discuss its value. =)

I'm just starting engraving. Was wondering where do you sell your pieces? I want to have options where to market the things I make in the future.
I mainly have a local clientele and people who have known me by word of mouth. From experience it takes from 4 to 5 years to be able to start a new business and to be known. today they can help contacts through the internet and social networks.

Cudo szacun

I imagined the snakes had emerald eyes and white diamonds around the opal.

What is the metal coil you are using so secure the piece while soldering?
It's an old watch spring
A M A Z I N G
Thanks
Beautiful as always sir! Can I request a more realaxing type of music for the next video? Love all your work!
thanks
Come on! Just turn off the volume and play your own music. The man has his own taste in music like everybody else!
Crusader King, I can't do that on the app. It was just a request, nothing else so please relax.
Sorry. I didn't mean to pick on you. It's just that it never fails that people complain about the music. I don't like it much myself so I turn off the sound.
I deal in a lot of Opal and have seen many gold settings and handling of the Opal. I dont think I have seen better than this.
Thank you

It is impossible to say from the video, if it is Lightning Ridge Opal, maybe 10k all up. If it is treated Indonesian Opal, 5k.
Nice

Interesting. It is perfect! Easy to flatten, and has the right properties. How do you clean it off of your piece afterwords though?
Had you given thought to using a white gold fretwork backing for the opal. Just a small design change.
ok, thanks
ありがとうございます。
