      Well it's a combination of a good router/mesh system and devices that can support the faster speeds. Having less interference helps.

    • @superbmediacontentcreator
      @superbmediacontentcreator Před rokem

      RF transmission is relative a great deal to the antennas, their placement, and their quality. I like routers and mesh devices that you can either plumb in better antennas and better placement or a least just add some better aftermarket antenna. Otherwise, put your router up as high in a room as possible. I've seen people that tucked their router way back under a desk or in a nice little hutch and then wondered why it did not have any range...

    Nice review, I'm looking to replace an older Orbi system. I would be curious - if this router has any mesh satellite device options (or access points via wire).. I know I can turn the old orbi into an access point , but at this point I'm thinking of a new setup with this at core. ty

    • @landpet
      @landpet  Před rokem

      I would personally stick with an Orbi mesh system, I'm not a fan of connecting routers to mesh systems. Routers are perfect for smaller places and mesh systems are better for larger places.

I am not sure what is the problem is....would it help If I were to put the ethernet from the modem to the Multi-Gig Port (2.5G/1G), instead of the Yellow internet port? could it be a problem with the ethernet cable I have that connects from the modem to the router and need to have it replaced?

I don't know anything about this type of things, but I want the fastest internet I could get. At this point I am paying Comcast for 1.2 gig internet - fastest they have, but my old Linksys router WRT610N ver.2 hardly gives me any speed. That's why I want to buy this raxe500 rounter. By the way, I have on iPhone 13 Pro 1TB and a Sony TV - top of the line - cost me $4,500. That is all I have. Thanks.

    • @landpet
      @landpet  Před rokem

      This will handle 1.2Gbps internet speeds. Ethernet devices will provide you with the fastest speeds assuming you’re using the faster ports and are using cables that can handle those speeds like cat7 cables and assuming your device supports those speeds. WiFi devices are a different story, not many devices over WiFi will get to those speeds even if your next to the router and the farther away you get, the slower the WiFi speeds will become. Hope this helps!
