Just a question. If I wanted to add a different network in my house, could 1 modem connect to 2 different routers, one being the new Deco, and the other being the original router?
The simple answer is no, there’s a very long answer that leads to yes but that’s only if you want something super specific that will take time to explain. Simply put no
I like the info until the MOCA was talked about. Do not get a hardware store splitter that's not of your cable providers type splitter it will cause issues and unesesary noise back feeding to the plant and cause major internet issues
Range and reliability are the most important of the parameters. For my suburbia life, range is more important than speed. Which is why I prefer the Orbi when I’m 200 feet away in the street and still have a reliable WiFi.
I'm torn between the XE70 Pro and BE63. I have 1000 up/down from ISP. The house is multilevel and 4000 sq. ft with close to 50 connected devices (cameras, ipads, smart tvs, etc) - what would you recommend?
ahhh!! that was it! I had a switch BEFORE the EEROs and it was a nightmare, they kept swapping and dropping signals even when they were hard wired.... now I have 1 BEFORE the switcher and BINGO.... thanks!
Hello again, ladpet! So I jumped off the deep end and purchased the Orbi 970 because I wanted to juice up my home mesh network from Nest Pro. I have to admit it was a colossal failure. None of my nest/google products connected even though i chose the same SSID and password. In fact, I got so frustrated at trying to factory reset everything (and still couldn't get my Nest thermostats to connect), that I yanked out all the orbi product (i had the router and 3 satellites) and reinstalled the damn nest pro. And then I still had issues, so I deleted my entire home, factory reset everything, changed my SSID, and finally things started connecting again. Is this a known issue. I so much wanted the Orbi to work based on all the internet reviews, including yours, but just was a complete bust and I am now returning them unfortunately. Not sure what I expected, but for 3grand I was hoping everything would magically work. lol What advice do you have for me?
Does it work for USB 2.0 and 3.0 transfer speeds
I don't recommend this for external drives
Do you still need to hook up a router to the other end of the MoCA?
No, you could connect the other side directly to a computer if you wanted
Isn't the cache mechanism limited by the source drive speed anyway?..... i smell bs
Yes it is, I’m using an NVMe SSD and RAM which are both fast
Source drives can read faster than they write just as a heads up
@@landpet sure but if the source is an hdd.... this is a scam
@@landpet also this is useless because you can do the same in windows by opening the drive property > hardware > drive property > change settings > criteria > allow caching
Great video. Which WiFi 7 system would you say is best for wireless backhaul?
Off the top of my mind, the BE95, BE85 or Orbi 970. I would need to check my results to tell you which one but all three are fantastic from what I remember.
well i made wit my removable harddrive but i need to use it now how i can undo this level 2 storage? @landpet
Check here: czcams.com/video/mfc2JKLUD4c/video.html
Important: precise whether the wheels would accept pneumatic tires if you wanted to change. The Xiami M365 (apparently almost the same scooter) accepts both. The Hiboy S2 pro will not accept pneumatics. For me pneumatic is a must. You can add 50-100 ml of SLIME like you’d do in a bike and avoid -most- flats
If I do a wired backhaul, would I need to do a factory reset on the node?
No, you can change from wired to wireless anytime.
thx....what color is the display? purple or white?
Idk, I don't have the scooter anymore
@normanguiver1538 0 seconds ago Sorry but this system like anything based on WiFi can be jammed so you will never have any video of the theft while it is happening. Anything based on WiFi is now obsolete with jammers costing under $100. throw away those ring doorbells unless you want a blank video when you were broken into. You have 2 choices, hard wired CCTV, but you still have to sit up all night and watch it or uWatch unjammable alerting system. czcams.com/video/Adsyxnxp2KQ/video.html
Have a quick question. I live in a 1400 sq ft home and I would love to get this mesh system. My wife and I plan to move into a bigger home in the coming years and are looking to get a system that we can use in our current home and are future bigger home once we start having a family. We don't see ourselves getting a home bigger than 5,000 sq ft and if I were to get a 2 pack Deco XE70 Pro from Amazon, would I just need to use 1 router for now and then use 2 when we upgrade into a bigger home down the road?
That can work or you could get something more powerful like the deco be63
Avopro Esmax for 390 EUR or HIKERBOY FoxTrot Plus for 460 EUR?
apollo pro is a luxury scooter, not a performance scooter. the segway is far heavier and does not fold flat. if better performance is supposed to be a plus over the apollo pro... then again, the pro is meant as luxury not performance. and, if i was to pick performance, then i would pick a different scooter to compare with the segway. better performing scooters would fold better and go faster. so, in both accounts, the segway is a skip.
What app are you using to customize the LED light display? My EB810v for some reason is not compatible with the Tether app.
It's directly in the Tether app.
Is it works in Brazil?
I think it should work in Brazil assuming you can buy it from Amazon in Brazil. Here is more info:developer.amazon.com/en-US/alexa/devices/alexa-built-in/development-resources/international#:~:text=Your%20customers%20can%20speak%20to,and%20the%20United%20Arab%20Emirates.
I love my GT2 but I regret knowing the inmotion RS after buying it. Now Im waiting for my RS delivery and is anticipating a yell from my wife again once it arrives.
RS looks awesome
Excellent comparison mate, love from Australia ❤ Thanks for your efforts in making this wonderful video which i could see benefits to so many people. Keep rocking 🎉 One dumb question though if I may ask please: Regarding the wired backhaul - I am looking to get XE75 Pro for my 2 story house. How can I connect them with wired? All rooms in the upstairs are having Cat 5e cable connection points, will that be useful in this case? Any idea/suggestion would be awesome. Thanks!
Thanks! As long as the cat5e can make it from one deco to another, then it's considered wired backhaul. Just as a heads up, cat5e is limited to gigabit speeds, I have seen it go faster for very short distances but it's rated for up to gigabit speeds. I go over all the ways of connecting an XE75 which is very similar to the Pro minus the 2.5Gbps port. czcams.com/video/QVKRQDokkhE/video.html
which one is better L20 or L20 SE?
It only works with other operators from the United States or also from Latin America.
do these have built in firewall capability? ie should my upstream fiber router remain in firewall mode? or should i change it to passthru mode?
Most if not every router has a firewall. Some off more protection than others but that doesn't mean 100% protection. I stick with the default settings and have some security protection on my machines as well for added protection. I try not to open ports and things of that nature and stick to known sites.
anything that's capable of going forty miles an hour need Hydraulic breaks. Drum will not cut it and is a huge safety factor.
What is a good modem I can use for this ?
for the cable modem, I was using the Surfboard SB8200 but you have to double check with your ISP to check which modem is compatible
@@landpet thank you , will this be good for over 2gb of speed ?
@@JaiRoccasGaming Deco BE63 is the way to go for up to 2.5Gbps
I have a question. So I have this router and 1 Gig internet speed. despite having fast internet speed, it causes my streaming services to buffer a lot and I am getting frustrated with it. I am not sure what is the problem is....would it help If I were to put the ethernet from the modem to the Multi-Gig Port (2.5G/1G), instead of the Yellow internet port? could it be a problem with the ethernet cable I have that connects from the modem to the router and need to have it replaced?
HOW LONG THIS LAST ? 1 YEAR ? 6 MONTHS ? BEFORE WE TRHOW IT AWAY?
it's the same scooter as the apollo phantom(specs wise) except you're paying an extra $1.5k for a better design and some cool lights... not really worth imo well, I still like my pro but one thing is I heard they postponed the seat addon.. my feet hurt when riding scooters so that was a bummer to hear, I might sell it to buy something with a seat option plus let's not forgot how they scammed their indiegogo supporters, it was priced at $3999 but the actual price after the campaign was $3299 because of a fake $700 discount, extremely scummy from them and I am still mad for supporting this campaign... I regret selling my Wolf king GTR
So what do you mean when you say that its ports are not autosensing? What are the consequences of that?
Would it be best to direct connect to gaming computer with Ethernet cable and one extender not directly connected to main one or just have extender on desk and use WiFi
Excellent video! I have a question; since I don't have ethernet throughout my home only coax can I use a Mocha to Ethernet adapter to connect to the second Eero router? Thanks!
I got mine in February. The problems I had on day one was that it overheated and throttled the speed and would give three beeps over and over. I contacted Apollo and they were able to connect to my scooter through the LOT sim card and do a diagnostic right then so was pretty cool. They hooked me up with a replacement scooter within a week. My second Apollo pro has been pretty good so far but I did notice the black paint on the front fork easily scraped off with my fingernail, I thought that was kinda cheap. Also after riding for a week I laid the scooter down on its right side to clean off the bottom and two of the screws for the bluetooth speaker just fell out. They were a pain to replace as the nuts on the back of the screws had fallen down the neck of the scooter and I had to find replacements and also I had to find some super long needle nose pliers to hold the nut while I screwed in the screw. My last gripe has to do with the app as it has consistently disconnected while on my rides and I never get a accurate mileage for my trips.
Thanks for the insights
That's failed scooter model.. by design(technical). Skip it.
if you adjust max on regen brake it's lot better and safer than hydraulic brake definitely .... actually its very smart ideas ...and almost stopping same distance as of hydraulic brake...even when l was driving full speed didn't use yet drum brakes...perfectly fine...
Regen brake is good

Front fork suspension is far superior than C-type suspension plus it looks beautiful too unlike C-type it looks awkward.
20 miles? Or kmh?
Mph from what I remember
I am looking into getting a three-pack, but my current setup already uses wired backhaul. Considering my wired backhaul setup, would you say the BE85 is a better option than the BE95? My understanding is that the BE95's 6 Ghz band is split to create the quad-band system, but the 6 Ghz-2 is ONLY available as a wireless backhaul option and is inaccessible by the client. Thanks!
i have a question..maybe im doing it wrong...i currently have the Asus XD5.. i tried plugging an unmanaged switch, it doesn't connect.. i tried plugin a laptop directly to the LAn port..it doesn't get DHCP... i thought it was plug and play-...am i doing something wrong?
Nice scooter but I can't buy it in france 😢
It’s pretty good
reach out on their CANADIAN website, to find out about where or how you can get one where you live.. they might not sell them there, officially, but they are sold in Europe, so you can get your hands on one if you really want to, I'm sure.
How is it compared to Verizon fios 1 GB 5G. Home internet in speeds wise
Would getting an 860 with 4 satellites be better than a 970 with 2 satellites? I have a very LONG church building and just trying to figure out which is the best solution for us
The satellites will start to lose speed after a while. Will you be doing wired or wireless backhaul? For wired, I would definitely go with 860. For wireless, the 970 offers even better speeds. It’s a tough choice, placement and size of the place also make a difference. If it’s a large open space, one alone will cover a fairly large area. It’s hard to say without knowing more about the building but as a general statement the 860s will have more overall coverage since there are more of them.
@@landpet Thanks for that info. Amazon was having a sale for the 860 with 4 satellites. I bought an extra one just in case. The church was built in 1905, there is thick brick, a new underfloor heating system, water based) and plaster everywhere. The length of the building is around 200 ft long over two floors. I have the Main Router in the middle of the upper floor. I'll have one satellite wired to one end of the user floor. The rest will be placed throughout the building. One main reason I need coverage everywhere is I need video doorbells on both ends. There are two entrances and sometimes deliveries only go to one door etc. Im hoping to get the rest covered wireless. in total the 86 with 5 satellites was 1500 dollars. I would love the 970 but with just 3 satellites would run about 2800 dollars. just not in the budget If you have an email I can send over my floor plan (im UK based). Ill take any help I can get
