I started freelancing on Fiverr at the very start of 2015, which means yes, I have been writing on the site for nearly a DECADE! That's a long time in the side hustling world.
Is it still worth it to get on Fiverr and set up your profile? In this video, I argue yes it certainly is, and to me, remains the best place to freelance even 9-years later.

Specifically in Afghanistan and girls like you means educated and know how to earn money online then online earning is the best place for them and only they just need to learn any skill and after then sell it as a service

I totally agree - I'm on the Upwork side of things (haven't "cracked" Fiverr myself - honestly could be a fun collab idea if you'd be up for that 😜) but I always say while yes ofc there's more "competition", it's not all "good competition", as many people are just putting the bare minimum effort into it. Plus, there's also a lot more clients nowadays, especially after covid - everyone and their mom has an online biz now that needs help in one way or another. It's just a matter of positioning yourself in the right way as "THE ONE" that can solve their problems!

Some of us were raised in severely neglectful and abusive homes, and as a result we struggle to be seen or heard. Your pet peeve is serious trauma to others. Be mindful of that.

@AlexanderFasuloBiz - I watch pretty much all your videos and because I know that everything won't work for everyone and you have to diversify, this has been one of the biggest takeaways I've learned from you .. I believe you were fortunate to hop on this before it was big and took off and you've already established a following and clientele - with all that said, I'm still going to set up my profiles and give it a try - I also know, there are many other ways to freelance and make money :) I'm all in - I just don't want to go back to the traditional 9 to 5 - I'm actually watching your new journey in real estate, which is exactly why I became an Esthetician so I can have more control over the money I make and I've already started looking into the rural dept. of agriculture loans you talked about... thank you for the inspiration and motivation!!!

@@AlexandraFasuloBiz Curious - when you say people are requesting client calls, are you meaning the person who has hired you for a gig or do you mean that the call *is* the gig? If it is the gig, what are they wanting during the calls? (If that makes sense)

I have a question in regards of the thumbnail of my gigs: what if i offer services or products that vary too much in themes, topics, or relevant interests? It's okay to change the format of the thumbnails, since it would be really difficult to adapt the same format for way too different gigs?

I would really like to start advertising a multitude of services on fiverr and they are not necessarily related to each other.
Is it best to create several different accounts or offer different kinds of services under one account?
Also, being brand new, Do you need a website to show that you are legitimate? Or is that not necessary?
Website isn't necessary if you're only freelancing on Fiverr - if you freelance OFF of Fiverr, I recommend a website!

Hi, I'm new to Fiver and would like to go into video editing and other stuff around that. I wanted to know how I would not get scammed. As far as I know, Fiver has a 14-day policy for the buyer to say they don't like the product and request a refund.
Also, if they request that they pay before hand but send the video of what I made for them, would you recommend sending a watermark version first to make sure everything is alright and getting written proof that they like it in case they scam me, to be able to show to Fiver as proof, or would I just send the full finished video without a watermark?

I wonder if it's becoming corporatized like all other businesses, and making it harder for upcoming freelancers, and only the ones who are already established can continue to profit.
Like many others I saw in your Facebook group, my level got demoted with the update. This does not appear Freelancer friendly, more like a corporate decision.

Hi Alex, what's the reason for not wanting to do video calls? Also, are you part of the seller plus programme? Do you think Fiverr favours seller plus members over one's that don't subscribe to the programme?
I am part of the program, yes! I don't accept calls in any part of my biz - slows me down. Just a preference! And yes, I would subscribe to the seller plus program.

Should I go for promoted gigs? I've seen people where their gigs get deranked after they turn it off. They can get into the game afterwards. What's your opinion?

Can two people (husband and wife) both have a Fiverr account without getting banned? We are both trying to launch a freelancing business, but want to be sure it is allowed. You seem so knowledgeable, so I thought you might know if we both can have an account. I can't find the answer in the rules.
You both can have different account. It is just like having different works. However, you must use different Government ID. I hope this was helpful.
I would recommend setting up separate accounts, so you don't accidentally violate their Terms of Service. Or, contact their customer service department and ask, first. They can be strict!
