Beta reading is a good one, I’ve heard from many people writing books that getting a second set of eyes (or many second sets of eyes) really helps when trying to look at your work with an unbiased set of eyes. Great video Alex!

Thank you so much for this info. I have been a stay-at-home mom for the last 18 years. I went to college, had a great job…then had a family and choose to stay home and raise them while my husband built his career. Now that the kids are well into high school and family expenses are hitting the ceiling…I need to go back to work, but I am having a really hard time. No one wants someone who has been out of the game so long. I think I am right there with people who barely have a high school diploma.
