Alex, I'm a creative writer. I joined fivver a month ago. No one has purchased my gigs yet. I'm going to take your course this weekend and hope to quit my on before the end of 2022. Will keep you posted on my journey. Great interview. Learned a lot 🤗
I love these long talks with people who I think are doing so good, because it helps me realize that they got to where they are because of the work they put in and that they not some lucky person who we should be jealous about and be judging them. The more I watch Alexandra's videos the more I like her as a person. And honestly when I saw Steffanie's Instagram, I was like she just wants to show off and it was maybe because I am not there yet, but after listening to her story, it's obvious she has worked hard for what she has achieved. Respect and love for both women.

I found this so interesting. Seeing you both breaking through expectations has given me much hope. Have been a copywriter sporadically in a very small way long time ago. Trying to get back into it but had encountered ageism. Now, I see a way forward in taking on smaller gigs and proving myself. The Internet rocks!

The ones that say “she’s just showing off how much money she makes” are the ones that don’t have the courage to pursue what they truly want in life.
They’re jealous that you’ve made it & they’re too lazy or unwilling to learn how to make their dreams come true. Some people take offense cuz it hurts their ego while some use that as inspiration like you did!
Don’t worry about please everyone. You know your true intentions & how people react to it is a reflection of themselves.

Great talk - super inspiring! The grind is real everyone - but in the end it will pay off - as Steffanie said, don't be afraid of failure, it's part of success... so true LOVE IT! I also believe in this wholeheartedly! By the way Alex, what is your recommendation for social media and website names... everything should match right? My fiverr name should match with IG and website etc right? I mean this would be optimal but right now my Fiverr is picking up but I don't like the name. Does it matter? Should I bite the bullet and make all my websites and social match the Fiverr one?

I have a question for something ive been thinking about if I do freelancing...What can I do or how possible is it to organize and schedule my own vacation time without losing clients and business? Or without it being problematic basically...Been trying to think realistically about what life could be like that and things I may want or need..Sometimes, people need a vacation or sick days. Any thoughts? 🤔🤗

Misery likes company.
I understand the jealousy and some friends stop talking to you after your success (you’re some friends are in pain that they couldn’t achieve what you could, or they’re in financial stress). Please don’t ignore them. Invite them to parties and make those less fortunates, feel special. When they know you’re down to earth even after becoming rich, they’ll cherish you!
You still have to be very careful about it. I tried to go on with two old and close friends of mine even though I got more successful than them and could afford much more. And I was asked by their close ones to help them out with advice and good vibes and conversations, to help them end their sadness and ignorance and unwillingness to get more out of the only life we have. 3-5 years from now, after all conversations and contacts and meetings and me trying to help - the result is - they are still in their comfort zone, didn’t do a s**t to change something and to earn more money and to succeed at least a tiny bit better with every year. I just wasted my time and energy. It didn’t help them!!!! And I made a hard decision to end the two friendships. People looooveeee the crap they live in. Period.
