I hope the youth screaming for coup will listen to stories such as this. I lived it just like the guests on the show. I'm about their age. The military could take over your house without accountability in the 1980s. There was a severe famine and Ghana was placed on the UN food aid program list. Yellow corn, Tom Brown, and cooking oil era. Ask anyone who lived it about Rawlings' chain. Be careful what you wish for. Those youtubers from other countries that have enjoyed relative peace in their countries without spending a single day under a military regime speak so irresponsibility and think the entire west Africa region should go under a military rule are children and have no clue of what they are talking about. Do they think they will have the freedom they enjoy now to make youtube videos and get away with it? Why don't they go back to their countries and demand for military rule? For us in Ghana, never again. We never had any real development under military rule after the overthrow of Nkrumah and sadly lost everything Nkrumah developed for us and the future generation.
