As someone who avoids spice, I really appreciate that you explained what your rating is based off. I find most people don't do that and it negates the reason for having a spice rating to begin with.
Glad it’s helpful! I know everyone rates spice levels differently so thought it would be good to clarify!
WAKE UP. THE QUEEN HAS POSTED
HAPPY FANTASY READING ❤❤❤
your spice rating is actually super helpful, especially with the way you explained it. my favorite books are either no spice or 1 and that's how i can take the most perfect recs from you ☺️
I'm so glad they are helpful!!
You should definitely do a romance books version of it!!🫶
Oh good idea!!!
Loved this style of video!!! Super helpful and just a lot of fun. 🥰📚 I always trust your book recs!
YAY happy you liked it!
I'm slowly getting into my fantasy era so this video is so appreciated, thank you! 😍
Best timing YAY!
Oo fantasy book review with spice rating sounds so interesting. Looking forward for this video 😍
hope you like it!
Oohhh. Love the new spice rating. I have read most of the books on this video and your recommendations are so on point! I just started The Serpent and the Wings of Night. Hopefully it turns out to be a good one.
Glad you like the system!
Tbh was not a big fan of serpent and the wings of night, but that’s an unpopular opinion, so you might love it!
This video idea is genius and the way you formated it is so professional, congrats!
Thank you so much!!
Thanks for the video^^ Love the mic
Glad you liked it!! ❤️
your voice is so soothing ❤
Omg what a compliment, thank you!!
Thanks for doing this video. A lot of good suggestions. Your video is a reminder that I should read my first R.F. Kuang book. Also, that I should read my first Sarah J. Maas book. In the latte case, I am somewhat imtimidated by the lengths of the books. I recently read Divine Rivals and loved it. It started Fourth Wing this morning
OH YES. such good books to try!
Excited to read The Unmaking of June Farrow! Also want to try One Dark Window and Babel 😍
DO IT!!
Jamie thank you for the spice meter
I requested it
Love you❤❤❤
It was a great suggestion!
I feel like you could even include Babel in with the litfic/classics section because of the themes explored and the prose alone. Great recommendations!
Ohh yes I agree!
divine rivals has a love scene but its not graphic. also, the later book of the false prince series has spice
I’d call them one chilli for spice at most! It’s very fade to black but you’re right, there is some build up
I have read these all already but when the mood hatched but it’s on my tbr!😂😂😂🎉❤
OUUU! It’s such a magical world!
Okkk you talked me into a few books I own that I haven't read yet lol and also loved ninth house and still need to read hell bent have you read it?? Great video love how you describe everything and the vibes are immaculate
YAY so glad to hear! I did really enjoy Hellbent. Ninth house was better for me, but still good!
I still need to read Emily Wilde 😩
If you’re into cozy classics, would recommend!
Hey love your channel! its just amazing! question: what order do you think is beset to read the v.e. schwab books?
Thank you!! I think it depends what you’re looking for. My fav from her is her darker shade of magic series (plus the spin-off). If you don’t want to commit to a series yet, I loved the invisible life of Addie larue!
@@jaimefok what is the spin-off series called?
@@romy1188 the fragile threads of power! Just one book out so far for the spin-off.
@@jaimefok thank youuuu
Love it when Jaime says we can grab a snack and chat 🥰
Also do you plan to participate in the fantasy stuff your kindle day on June 23rd?
CZcams + snacks is the best combo ❤️ I’ll probably check it out but tbh I don’t need more books right now 😂
@@jaimefok same 😂 my poor TBR
I’m sending you love❤
❤️❤️❤️

Have you ever tried the series Fallen from Lauren Kate?? 😀 ❤
I have not!!
i read it when i was in high school and i really loved it, take a look, maybe you will enjoy it too!
The fact that you mentioned Leigh Bardugo's books books but didn't mention the six of crows duology😭
Unpopular opinion, but I prefer her others!!
❤❤❤
Fantasy classic. Any interest in going on the game of thrones journey? I just started mine and I'm enjoying way more than I thought
I did read the game of thrones series a while back!!!
Did you like it? I'm a little surprised you never mention it in either direction
@@lindsayjohnson5672 it was so long ago but I do remember really enjoying the books! I guess I usually talk more about the books I’ve read in the past few years!
@@lindsayjohnson5672 I guess I should also mention, by “a while back” i mean at least 10 years ago 😂 I don’t talk about it much because many of the details have left my brain at this point.
Very very fair lol yeah if I don't remember I don't recommend lol
Conoce algun libro que de respuestas a preguntas como, por que hay tantas guerras si todos quieren la paz? que sentido tiene la vida? es Dios responsable del sufrimiento humano?
I don’t read non-fiction really, but I’m sure there are some philosophy or religion books about this!
@@jaimefok A mi me ha ayudado a conocer la respuesta en la Biblia
Girly why you looking unhappy/traumatized in ur thumbnail 😂😂
LOL idk thought it was funny 😂
Jamie fok married Brandin Stephens
No I did not
