Divine Rivals was prob my fav book in April, but also really liked Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman and The Eternal Ones by Namina Forna. So glad you liked Priory!

hey Jaime! you have to try Khaled Hosseini's books (The Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns) must try such awesome books the end of each book I cried a lot.
I read the kite runner in school a looooong time ago! I honestly don't remember much of the plot but I remember loving it!
I've been so excited for this video! These are some of my favorites of yours and I always look forward to them! ☺ The best book I read in April was "Funny Story" by Emily Henry; SO GOOD, new favorite.

I definitely agree when you said there could be more, because I also felt like this whole book could have been a series once I was finished but it was a solid 3.75~3.9 for me. No shade bestie I was just SHOCKED lol

Your story with the cozy fantasy book sounds similar to my experience with legends and lattes.
At first I was so in love with the cozy vibes then around 70% I was so ready to move on and there was still like 100 pages left.
So either cozy fantasy does not work for me, or I can only deal with short cozy books.
YES haha - I wonder if these books are meant to be consumed in small portions or read alongside a more exciting book lol
I found Dance of Thieves so confusing to follow. I found that they threw a bunch of world building at you all at once and I would lose track of where the characters were in the present. I read the second book and enjoyed it a bit more but found the ending very drawn out. I skimmed the last 100ish pages because I'd gotten bored of it.
Yeah there was just something off about the world building!
Also Jaime can you Include a spice meter or rating because as a teen who doesn’t read spice I would love to find non spicy books 😊

I saw one CZcamsr do a short review/thoughts clip after they finished reading each book and saved each and put together a compilation at the end of the month with all the reviews. I thought that was really interesting and often each review was in a different room, or setting, just wherever they happened to be. Just an idea, if that’s helpful.

I'm not sure - it's been so long! But it seems like the story hasn't fully concluded, and there's a blank villains #3 listing on goodreads!

I personally think that The Remnant Chronicles are miles better than Dance of thieves. I devoured the trilogy in 3 day, but the duology was kinda boring, it took me weeks to finish it.
