Some uni's require A2, some B1, but mostly they require B2, also it's not only about which country you're coming, its also about degree you want to apply, for example if you went to music highschool and you want to apply to med school, then you need studienkolleg, no matter which country you're from... ❤️
Do you have to send your documents physical or just through email? Also, did you apply to only one Studienkolleg or more?

I think u need to study German and have B1 certificate before going to studienkolleg
Yes you have to have the B1 certificate in order to get accepted in the studienkolleg.

Hi Naja, I really need your help I am looking to study in a student Kolleg in Berlin but I only have a GED certificate which the Uni assist has denied my applications for one of the student Kolleg I applied. Can you give me any advises which StudentKolleg accepts students with a GED certificate?

So if you are invited to take the entrance exam, do you have to go to Germany or can you take it in your home country ? And how long after the entrance exam does the Studienkolleg start? Where do you live, can you live in studentwohnheim ?
Hello Sage! I was already in Germany as I did my entrance exam because most entrance exam are being held in Germany! Usually it takes 1-2 weeks until the Studienkolleg starts after the entrance exam! Yeah, we can live there once you're a student :)
Hay I know this is long ago but I want to ask if you have been invited to take entrance exam... do you have to have study visa before entrance exam or... bc i'm confused what if you don't pass entrance exam then you got study visa for no reason@@SiscaTanaya

Not really, private Studienkolleg accepts A2 sometimes but most of the public STK requires B1 or B2 minimum

Hey quick question from US. I recently got my Community College Associate (2 years of college). Do you think it'll grant me direct entry to German Univerity without having to go to Studienkolleg? Anabin mentions that it does not but I'd appreciate it if you can give me some insight. Thank you!
Hello Hashmat! I clearly have no idea about that, but i think it's a lot better if you email the university that you wanna study in here in germany! they'll tell either you have to visit Studienkolleg or you can go directly there :)

I believe that 2 years of college compares to a german abitur that should allow you to apply directly to the university. At least that is what I have been told, but like Naya said it's always better to contact the university directly to be safe as each university has different requirements.

Should we check that in which college we did our 12th grade in anabin if so in anabin there are only college after 12th grade and not the 12th grade school🤔🤔

It has a exam you have to get accepted to so in conclusion you need ATLEAST B1 certificate

The latest application deadline for the summer semester is 15th of January. Some Studienkollegs (e.g. Studienkolleg at University of Hamburg) have their deadline as early as 30th of September.
We have an overview on all Studienkollegs (public and private ones), including their deadlines, in our App ==> *app.obanuu.com*

Dear @randomfantomofFanta, what exactly do you mean with a-Levels? A-Levels in a passed Aufnahmeprüfung or German speaking skills Level in German? To pass Aufnahmeprüfung successfully you need B1 or even B2. Best regards!
After applying for Studienkolleg and once when I reach Germany within how many weeks I have to write my Aufnahmeprufung

People with japanese higher education don't need to attend to studienkolleg but you can apply to a DSH Kurs if you want to :)

No! you'll get used to it. I was scared at first too, but then now i'm used to it. Keep on talk in German every day, even to yourself! Goodluck :)
@@SiscaTanaya I can't seem to find any studienkolleg. I contacted one in Heidelberg, told them I wanted to study mechanical engineering and they said I should search online for the universities that offer mechanical engineering courses in Heidelberg and apply. Then request for studienkolleg.
I found one university online and they said they don't offer studienkolleg. So they said i should check uni assist. I'm confused and don't know what to do right now.
