Djent bands tend to use jazz progressions for the most part. I'm aware of what it is lol. A tone doesn't define a style, so if it's just a tone then you couldn't refer to them as "getting djentier" lol. You'd just say, "whoa, they changed their guitar tone".
That skill level is crushing.
I really like the guitar parts.
But all in all for me it sounds a liddle bit too "monoton" (german) to be that long.

The rhythms in the intro are Latin Jazz and Afro Cuban influenced
good technique, but no feeling, skolnick has THAT feeling in metal.
