Clouds Nope I will not switch back. The reason why I went to this 520HZ temp 3 tone is that my grandma is living with us now temporarily while her house is getting redone. And the tone will stay like this for a while, since 520HZ is proven to wake people up quicker and more effectively.
I wonder how much the electricity cost just for having all these fire alarms all over the house and your parents let that happened wow,if it were any other people parents and minds they will obviously say no and say buy your own house then you can do whatever,and so you can't mess around with their bills.
The panel takes 120 volts and a few amps, it outputs 24 volts DC at max(alarms on) to all devices. It wont add much more to your power bill then what's already there.
Well jeez, this is, uh, very interesting. These videos look/sound almost like mirror images of the content MrTruealert made, who has now mysteriously disappeared from CZcams. With all this brand new equipment, you have to be looking at least $3,000 dollars. Even with a tech connection at Simplex, I wonder how one would obtain a 4100ES and all the latest compatible devices for it for residential/hobby use. Huh, just makes me wonder. I don't care for any of this new ES stuff, anyway. It's all highly overpriced, over-computerized, proprietary, and not to mention, ugly, garbage. Nonetheless, nice installation and demonstration.

@@MRIDNETGUY2004 No problem. It sure looks like it. To me, it's disappointing to know that this probably will become the new standard in that amount of time. At the rate technology is advancing, I could see fire alarm inspectors out of work at some point, as they'll probably design this stuff to test itself at a set time and day and send automatic reports to the company. Fire alarms will never be the same again, even though there is absolutely nothing wrong with current (and even vintage) fire alarm technology in use. It all gets the job done. Very, very sad.
@@MRIDNETGUY2004 if they get rid of the conventional simplex turealerts. I think simplex will use wheelock NAs. They have been doing that for a long time ever since the late 80s to now.
