So you've gotten into the perfect bat lag position…
...you hit the ball and it just doesn't quite jump off the bat.
    What happened?
    The answer is easy...
.. you didn't unload your angles!
In today's lesson, we'll show you how holding onto lag destroys energy transfer into the ball...
...and a great feel for players to break through those angles and transfer all the speed into impact!
Thanks for watching and I hope to help you much more with your game in the future!

great video as always. My 17 year old son has been following your swing technique for 2 years. Two things he uses to feel the proper lag was #1 the Swingrail., #2 the Ritend knob weight. Your method works to good because the Coach think he is not swinging hard and not using his legs. But he is , just not taking gorilla hack anymore and they don't like that but he hits homeruns while staying in complete control and not over swinging, Coaches, ump and teammates always check his bat, thinking it is a -5, Thank you for all of your videos

Haha, that's great! It's so great to hear every time a player benefits from the instruction... The reason the coach doesn't think he's swinging hard is most likely because he's being very efficient. You can't really create enough speed in the bat to hit home runs if the body is used correctly... but as you stated A LOT of coaches think over swinging means you're using your body. The best hitters in the world are balanced and efficient. Thanks so much for the comment and please tell your son to keep up the great work!

Strong and without effort. All sports mechanics should be this way.

Being optimally efficient is always the most efficient way. :P

This is such an armsy swing. This is not how major leaguers swing

Hey Joeshmo,! Not every MLB player swings exactly like this, yet many of the top active hitters of all time do... An armsy swing may be how you interpret these mechanics, yet all of our players we swing much faster than the top averages in their respective leagues. We can do a video on this in the near future, yet this Tuesday, we're releasing a video with a student example swinging 10mph faster than the top D1 players with these exact mechanics. Be sure to check it out.! Thanks for the comment!
