    Great video, Josh! As you know, I LOVE my (somewhat) new USB AR card. It's been such a seamless integration into my life, and redeeming the rewards using RTR is super easy! Great to know about the Redstone FCU card! A potent sleeper card for sure!

      Thanks Stan! I'm glad you're liking the USBAR.. I gotta figure out my credit card roadmap for next year and see if it's a card I want to get. And yeah, Redstone is looking pretty lucrative... I'd definitely be picking it up if I didn't have other cards that satisfy those categories.

    fun fact about the Bilt many also don't know...electric and gas bills can be paid via ACN just like paying your rent...thereby not hitting your credit limit, avoiding any sort of credit card processing fee with those utilities that also many times don't accept credit cards, and earning the 1%. If anyone here can answer but is it worth credit freezing or paying a monthly subscription to a credit company to get more in dept into your own credit and able to lock it so if say u want to see if u get approved or not it won't affect it with a hard inquiry? I don't currently pay to see anything extra on the main credit companies or have access to freezes or locks.

    • @joshua.butler
      @joshua.butler  Před 8 měsíci

      Credit freezing is completely free. If you create an account on experian.com, equifax.com and transunion.com, you'll be able to freeze and unfreeze your credit through those individual reporting agencies. Once you get your accounts set up, freezing and unfreezing are immediate. You can also pull your credit reports from all 3 reporting agencies from annualcreditreport.com

    If you have the Costco Executive membership, which gives you 2% cashback), and then you pay with the Citi card, you effectively get 4% cashback at Costco. So, it might beat out this redstone card if you don’t shop at other warehouses

    Although the Costco Visa gets 4% cash back on gas rather than 5%, the gas at Costco is MUCH less expensive to begin with compared to the vast majority of gas stations. Therefore, the Costco Visa is by far the best card to buy gas with (provided you have a Costco membership and buy the gas at Costco).

      @joshua.butler  Před 7 měsíci +1
