There's just something about FNAF 1
Maybe it's the atmosphere, or maybe it's just that it's genuinely one of the scariest FNAF games. Whatever it is, nothing hits harder than the nostalgia for this game and I'm glad to see it once again in a new light

probably because they have that older look and that why its a little more scary remember 9 times out of 10 the vintige is better
also the older ones look more unsettling and uncanny from the old look they have

Freddy's mechanic:
Whenever he laughts he goes to a new room
He can go to 5 rooms
He goes to the rooms in these order:
1B - Party Room
7 - Bathroom
6 - Kitchen
4A - Right Hallway
4B - Right Hallway Corner
So when u hear him laugh 5 times u need to close the door ASAP...if ur late by like 3-5 sec even if the door is closed he kills you
Once u close the door in time and he laughs again, thet means the he went back to cam 1B (Party Room)
And u do this over and over again

I love some of the creative differences in this game like the special golden freddy night and the notebook dialogue. IT doesn't quite have the same spook factor as the first game and I think that might be due to the slow animation of the jumpscares.
Yeah something about it seems way less scary, I think it’s more about sound design and the colors being less subtle
also the pacing was a bit slower like foxy and freddy barely moving
Lack of ambient music and sounds also make the experience more stale
the stance of the animatronics in the door is like.....
@@benlt02 freddy...barely moving? did you HEAR how much he moves in the later nights? The only reason foxy didn't is Ryan kept him at bay.

I think the phone call is the only thing that kinda sets off the more serious look of it for me. Very monotonous to listen to, like a lack of any emotion.
But super amazing graphics and gameplay, a really cool remake.
For real, sounds like a total Dweeb. Wish the phone caller would stfu lol

Dude, moving the time of night to a folder you have to open is GENIUS. There's no purpose for it other than possible comfort, but it distracted you from everything else going on - the stuff that can actually kill you! There are a lot of other changes like that in this version that leave me really impressed!

18:20 when he opens the camera to pirates cove, the fritz davis poster is one the “out of service sign” then he switched to another camera and then back to pirates cove and the missing poster is gone. Probably implying that fritz is possessing foxy

Man its awesome to see how Ryan has came all this way. I still remember when he played Fnaf 1 fan game's that was out at the time and to see him so Spooked out from the littlest of sounds was just hilarious.

YOOOOO WHOEVER MADE THIS REMAKE DID AMAZING ON IT! THE LIGHTING, THE ANIMATION, THE MODELS, THE AUDIO, EVERYTHING IS JUST AMAZING!
It's just amazing that they can recreate a game like this. It was a simple but very effective game and they've went past what I've expected
oh god, I wasn't expecting a 8-BitRyan jumpscare at the start of the video! Anyways, with these remakes of FNAF was something that I'm very impressed about. With the fact that some people in the community has made their own recreations with some of the original Five Nights at Freddy's games; some were very well made, and some were just hit or miss.
But I'm glad that the FNAF community has been putting a lot of hard work and effort to make their own style of FNAF.
By the way, I'm surprised that you haven't finished the first game of Five Nights at Freddy's. Maybe we'll have a FNAF 1 revist sometimes soon.
Anyways,, I have had a lot of great memories of FNAF 1. So much nostalgia

Freddy's mechanics in the classic is that he is the most dangerous of them all.
The dude will move in every laugh.
And when he is at the camera near your door, if he laughs one more time, Freddy will be at the door, but you will not see him, even with the door lights.
Closing the right door will move him back in the next laugh, but not very far, he will be near the door again. He is basically a stalker.
But he does have a counter, staying in the same camera as Freddy will lock him there. He will be unable to move even if the camera is down.
He will only move again if you switched to Foxy. Which is probably a game balance, you can only stop one of them (Freddy or Foxy) with the cameras.

Because in the og, the only thing you do to stop Foxy is open the camera and that's it, no need to look at pirate's cove. the only animatronic that stops while you look at them is Freddy.

I don't know if anybody notices but at 17:16 , the sign on Foxy's Pirate Cove is covered, showing a Missing Poster with a name saying Fritz Davis. Small details like these are cool, definitely proud of the dev for this one.

Hey Ryan, if you thought this was good you should check out another remake called "Fazbear's Fright Attraction". It's a remake of FN@F 3 that basically overhauls the existing mechanics and adds a few new ones. It also looks amazing, of course.

My question for these games is, Why is the security guard not given a costume to wear around the animatronics to make them think they are one of them?
Not a springlock, just a costume to wear. So they look like a mascot as well?
Then tell them to act like a robot / animatronic so they don't get killed?

js, if you were to go back to night three. Timestamp 13:14 after ryan puts down the security camera feed, you can see a paw or a hand reaching out from the broken tv screen down on right. Maybe this has something to do with the lure or is it just an easter egg?

In the original, you could just keep checking the lights and keeping the cams on the stage from N3 on. On N2 and before, you can keep it on foxy, as freddy doesn't move. Just opening the cams counts as a foxy check for him, but not for freddy (this is the reasoning for N3).
Additionally, keep your game locked at 3 frames or less, I believe, and you can win by doing nothing. Cheers.

this fangame is amazing but my only real complaint about it is that the phone calls seem really.. emotionless. theyre really monotone and have almost no character compared to the original phone calls. they sound like they were recorded last minute... other than that though, the fangame is awesome and a really good recreation of the original, and the new features like the new way you keep track of the time and the whole ''golden freddy night''. very cool recreation in general.
