I love how all the achievements are named after fnaf fan songs. Brings back memories
NOT to overwinding Freddy's Music Box was the secondary text underneath his tip's main text so it wasn't exactly something new they sprung on you. Now also tbf, the tips do NOT always cover all mechanics and do force some trial and error like Nightmare BB and the Freddles in the FNAF4 room or Mangle and the Cupcake in the FNAF2 room. But still the initial Tip Manager (3:30) was more important than most ppl give it credit for; often waiving it off as a simple tutorial on how to play the game.
#2: "Try to understand the tip before checking the next one. The tips are not meant to make the Tip Manager a 'how to beat the level' manual. They try to help you understand how the level works, not how to beat it."
To avoid being completely confused and everything being trial and error, this tip is crucial. You're not meant to quickly skim each tip but carefully read each one individually and examine their accompanied image so you fully understand the mechanic that the tip is trying to explain to you; as this game is essentially a bunch of escape room minigames, you can't just assume you'll eventually figure it out and be good to go from then on as each level old mechanics become useless and you're introduced to completely new ones. Another example of not following this tip, that I've seen multiple ppl fail at, is the tip for putting on the suit in the FNAF4 room. Most people either just click the button, press spacebar, or forget about hitting the spacebar. If you spend the time to slowly read the tip you'd know: it specifically tells you to hold 'left click' or 'E' to put on the suit, then press spacebar to fully hide.
Part of the issue I think is, since it's a FNAF fangame, when something happens that the player doesn't understand, rather than thinking "I must be playing it wrong. There is something I'm missing." they jump to "WTF!? I don't make mistakes! Game is bugged!".... I've seen this with the overwinding Freddy mechanic, where they are clearly winding it for too long as the music has started to sound warped and too fast then the glass breaks and Freddy is freed. They then jump to how its BS and they were winding it so the game is broken. Now, are there legit bugs in this game? Yes, 100%. Should you assume that you lost due to "bugs"? No. Always assume you're at fault first and throw away what you think is correct and start learning the mechanic with a fresh mindset. If this continually fails, try looking to see how others deal with it and maybe its something simple you missed (this is very easy to do). If you're doing exactly what they're doing (except it works for them) or after checking multiple sources they're all experiencing the same issue, then you can assume it's bugged.
After all, jumping straight to "the game is a buggy mess" is quite rude and insulting to the devs who worked hard on the project w/o any hope of financial gain, esp. when the claim is false.
Still love the concept of the game and always enjoy Ryan's interactions with games so I hope to see more!
Do you honestly expect CZcamsrs to read tips or tutorials they could just cut out of the video? 😂
It's a meme. Even when everything is laid out word-for-word, CZcamsrs "up there" (in popularity/fame) slowly lose the basic interest of following said tutorials/tips/in-game-dialogue. This isn't a callout against Ryan, It's literally all youtubers (and before somebody goes at me for my exaggerated use of saying "all" - you know I mean "almost everyone" and not the select few you know of that are probably speedrunners or walkthrough tutorial creators). Tutorials are honestly a solid chunk of development work by itself - as the dev(s) need to figure out *what* the player *needs* to know (Keyword: *NEEDS* - You don't need to know the potted plant has the key under it; You need to know that you can lift small objects with holding E), and how to either bread-crumb them into figuring it out themselves (hey look, a ledge you can't reach and conveniently there are a few boxes in a staircase formation that you can interact with nearby) or having to say word-for-word a mechanic that wouldn't be naturally figured out. Certain games are very ... *VERY* solid at the bread-crumb tutorial method. Outer Wilds is a solid example (If whoever reads this has never heard of that game - buy it, play it. Can't say more about it).
"Buggy" or "Broken" is when something unintentional happens when trying to get an intended outcome. Nothing unintentional happened this game, as everything that occurred happened as intended, it's just a lack of info. Although it's odd how (and again, not specifically at Ryan) CZcamsrs will literally *read aloud* the tips/tutorials sometimes... but then forget(?). It's like ending a call with a cellphone, putting it in your pocket, and not even 20 seconds later - patting the pocket to check if the cellphone is there. Did what you just do go in and out of the brain that quickly? 🤔... I hope people don't have info do that with their brain when it comes to things that can mean life or death (Surgeon, driving a vehicle, operating a firearm, etc). Although sadly I've heard of one-too-many surgery stories where things are just *left inside* people's bodies so... humanity's obviously not doomed. 😅

My favorite thing I love in this game is that it truly puts in perspective just how small you are. Compared to these 7-8 foot tall metal killing machines, and especially compared to Fredbear.

I noticed a cool detail that in the menu, on the door to the security office there are dents to indicate the animatronics bang on the door and are therefore quite strong as to put multiple dents in a solid metal door.
you can see it through out the game, too. a subtle detail, but it also explains why the areas have multiple security doors separating them. [the real reason is likely to load and unload parts of the game, but in a real world outlook, those animatronics wouldn't jus' unload from the other areas.]
regarding the strength bit, i will note that the animatronics have enough structure/support to walk around, and the hydraulic force to crush a frontal lobe. not to mention, they're massive in size. i'd imagine metal, mechanical doors would be the best counter for huge, metal animatronics gone rogue.

Ryan got so surprised by the fact that only some of the lockers open even thou it was basically the first or second thing that he read shortly after getting to the level is he forgetful? or does he not pay attention to what he reads? probably because of stress
edit 1: I just saw him pressing start after getting caught by toy chica on the locker and yup the only some lockers are open machanic was the first thing the hint manager showed him which makes it the first thing he read and he forgot probably just didn't pay attention

I'll have to wait for the rest of the levels to verify this- but both levels so far have had lyrics from fnaf fan songs! The first one was "No time to Live" which seems like it comes from "I've got no time" by TLT. Then the second one I definitely recognized as Mechanical instinct by the aviators. I'm wondering what they've chosen for the rest of em! Looking forward to the next part as always ^^

so the first thing i thought of when i saw the title, Glitched Attraction, was a fnaf song called Darkest Desire (due to it probably being related to glitchtrap). it's really good. srsly recommend watching it.

The game specifically tells you that Nightmare Fredbear doesn't have audio cues for movement, instead only giving them to dissuade and confuse you. He has one for leaving, sure. But you just have to keep an eye on him otherwise.
Also everyone seems to make that mistake with the suit; the tutorial probably could've pointed out it needs to be held.

@@phantomplays5792 Then perhaps it's an issue with the franchise's gameplay style of clicking rather than holding. All the way back to the toggle lights in the first game and the atrocious flicking mechanic in the second that causes people to misplay other games and not look at animations in any ever.
