I really prefer to do figure eights without a hand roll as you have much more control that way. I only use the handover hand method when I’m spinning the staff with two hands typically.

Now try and teach Strikes of the dragon: Han 1, also the traditional bow. Then teach han 2. Yeah, i doubt you can do it. I’m still working in Han 1 lol
This is actually really easy to learn, tip: practice with a plastic broomstick, its much lighter and wont hurt as much when u hit yourself while practicing.

@@BlackBeltSamery I also think my staff might be a bit too heavy for training, I bought a 6ft rubber staff as I didn’t want to damage a wooden one whilst learning, it’s quite cumbersome, once the motion is going it’s great but can be difficult to do single handed spins
I never know that i have blood of chinese i was high school playing kick sepak! I was able to do the back flip kick full force! My team mate said to me how can you do that i never know i was also shock that time! And the Jump spin i kick the ball while i was air i was also shock that time!
It’s like the motion for a kayak paddle, just kinda rotate your arm as over each other. A lot of spin tricks look more complicated than they actually are

I’m getting the motion going but I find when I spin the staff I don’t end up catching it in the middle, I seem to get lower and lower every time
