- This video shows you a method to connect two headphones at the same time into the Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface.
I tested this method with the following interfaces:
- Focsrite Scarlett Solo (3rd Gen)
- Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 (1st Gen)
- RME Babyface Pro
What do you need for this to work?
An Y adapter cable depending on the monitor/line outs of your interface

The volume is really low for some reason. i have the 4th gen, and i noticed that. Also, the volume control was to add more volume to the headphone's, and it didn't gain any more volume.
Do you mean with 2 headphones or just regular? If you don´t get enough volume with this hack it´s because the line-out doesn´t output high volume for 250 ohm or higher headphones. Best would be something around 32 ohms or max 80

These are just the old Headphones with the 3,5mm Jack and I just used an Adapter to 6,3mm :)

Can you send two different Audio signals from each output? for example: Thriller on front output, and Billie jean on the back output simultaneously ?
Nope unfortunately not, however if a mono output is fine you could use both back outputs at the same time and pan 1 mix entirely 100% left and the other one 100% right

Double 6,3mm mono to 6,3mm stereo :) but you can also get smth like the pro snake TPY 2003 BPP from thomann and just use that.
Hey! I just bought the Scarlett Solo. I don’t understand why, but when I listen to the recording, I only hear with one ear. It just does with the video I’m recording with Scarlett, not the others. Can you help me?
Hey dude, do you use the headphone in on the front or specifically the ones on the back? The ones on the back are both mono ( just left/right) so you would need to connect both together like i did in the video

I just used an 3.5mm cable into the port that goes into the interface and it sound weird and says my headphones are speakers in output settings

There is a button behind the interface from where you have to turn on your 48v power supply button otherwise your mic will not respond anymore

Those Apple earbuds won't even properly work because they are TRRS. Only TRS headphones work on a focusrite.
