My first Koi !! GROW N’ SHOW

We’ve got our first koi!
We had a great time at the grow and show which was arranged by Eden Koi and Koi Water Barn!
A really nice way to pick our first fish and we walked away with a lovely kohaku and karashigoi :)
They’ve been in the grow on tank now for a week now and they seem to be settling in ok 👍🏻
I’ve been keeping a close eye on the water parameters and will do a separate video on how my tank goes through new pond syndrome.

Id empty a bit of water out that tank buddy as it will be easy for them to escape out the top take it down 6inch

Actually that’s a great shout, I’ll do that now! Thanks Karl, I hadn’t thought of that as the water level is lower than the top of the wooden rim, but thinking about it, they could jump and get stuck down the side of the plastic part of the tank 👍🏻

I had to quickly walk out the shop before picking some more up, so I don’t think it’ll be long tbf 😆 just need to get the new pond syndrome out the way and will take it from there 👍🏻👍🏻
