I used a paper transfer tape that I use for transferring vinyl as well. It’s a medium tack and available in a variety of sizes from sign suppliers or online. Now I do not suggest using if you do not have air assist and an air exhaust system. I will only use within my enclosure now. Never leave your laser unattended. It’s technically paper! I did have some charring with some of the pieces even after using the tape and had to do some touch ups. I think it was from the different pieces of certain hardwoods. While the grey dryer wood engraved deeper, It charred easier. 😊

@@joseptarrago9400 Yes they did for the one type of hardwood. The trick is to have the wood sanded down very smooth so the tape is super flat. :)
