What is the exact reason i need to update the firmware? Im still confused on that.
Most of the time the updates are more like a nice to have. However, there are must-have updates like the ones for my TT shifters to work with the 12 speed derailleur and the ones for supporting new types of E-bike components. I think I did an update for the Di2 battery, so even the battery has firmware!
