- In this video, I am opening up the nearly complete series of The Fairly Odd Parents! on DVD from Amazon's Burn-on-Demand collection of Nickelodeon titles. In another video I made, I did an unboxing of these that I had purchased from eBay, and I decided that those ones were fakes. These, however, are the authentic copies purchased directly from Amazon at regular price. So if anyone ever purchases these and suspects they might have received fakes, here is a video that shows you what the authentic ones should look like.

Fairly odd parents will always hold a special place in my heart. Even though it's ended it continues on strongly in my heart!
Honestly it was kinda overrated most of the time .Don’t get me wrong the show is good but it definitely overstayed it’s welcome .At least with spongebob the quality of the show picked up.Even before hillenburg died

The one disappointment for collectors is that the three-part "Wishology" is missing from this collection. Neither Season 6 nor Season 7 has it. On the other hand, I'm pleasantly surprised they included the Jimmy Timmy Power Hours in Seasons 4 and 5 (since, legally speaking, they're "Jimmy Neutron" episodes.) That was a nice touch.
The Wishology Special is released in its own DVD case, Also the episode frame is kind of like zoom out than it's supposed to be.
Paramount did released a Jimmy Timmy Power Hour DVD that have some Fairly Oddparents and Jimmy Neutron episodes too ! I can already imagine the quality will be way better than these crappy official bootlegs.
Do you find it bizarre that Rugrats, The Fairly Oddparents,Jimmy Neutron, and Invader Zim were released in this DVD-R format and not from Viacom/Paramount themselves even though they were like the most popular Nick shows ?
No, the Jimmy Timmy Power Hours are actually FOP episodes.

I have all of the fairly odd parents DVDs. (Including all the movies and compilation DVDs) but for the season DVDs, I like the simplistic artwork and I like how they look like a rainbow on my shelf. They are a very nice addition to a collection!
Is Nickelodeon just too damn lazy to release these shows themselves? So they have Amazon release these licensed bootlegs?

I love "The Fairly Odd Parents!" beacuse we're aired on Fox Kids, Jetix, Disney XD and Nickelodeon in Latin America as "Los padrinos mágicos" in Spanish.

It’s cool that the first eight seasons (the only seasons of fairly oddparents that exist in my eyes) have dvd releases
So technically the show got completed although if shout factory ever plans to release a complete series set of this show I think they should add seasons 9 and 10 for completions sake

Fairly Oddparents ended because the creator Butch Hartman left Nickelodeon after two decades. Spongebob is the only cartoon that is still making new episodes. They're almost done with Season 11.
And now they are done with Season 11.
Now Season 13 has been out for a while now and their isn't any episodes coming out, their being more slow now.
I wish they would release these on blu ray already. These would take up half the shelf space.
Seasons 9 and 10 should get Blu-ray releases because those seasons were produced in high-definition.

I'm not a big fan of stacked Discs either But the thing is I'm probably not gonna watch these a whole lot anyway to the point where it would be a huge problem for me
The fairly odd parents dvd case reminds me of the Rugrats dvd case cause of the color and the artwork (other than the character on it) it looks similar and I loved both shows 9 seasons for rugrats and poor baby or should I say baby’s it lost it crown by spogebob and the fairly odd parents by only 10 seasons (I have no experience with spogebob because I’m not allowed to watch that show but all I know it has a bit more season than rugrats and I heard sadly the creator of the show died and I feel bad for spogebob even know I can’t watch the show it’s still sad to see him go) (rip Stan lee)

I like the artwork discs on all the DVDs, and when you said stacked discs unfortunate, but the stacking is not too bad, at least they’re not on top of each other, which would not be good at all,

I don’t mind stacked disc cases like the ones in this but like the ones where they’re right on top of each other is something else.
It would be cool if Paramount re-released all the seasons on DVD one of these days. Although if they did, I'd probably only get the first 5 seasons since those are the ones I really like. I do have the original Amazon releases of Seasons 1 and 2 (which I've had since 2009) and the Paramount release of Season 6, Vol. 1 (This season was okay. Not as good as the first 5 seasons, but definitely not as bad as the following seasons.)

Apparently season 6 volume 1 was the only one made by paramount.
And Season 6 Volume 2 was never released except for in the UK.
We need Paramount official releases of these. There's marcoblocking everywhere on these discs. Like if you want an official RL

At least for J's cases. Some people have gotten Viva tray cases rather than Scanavo's overlapping polished black cases.

I seriously don't understand how Nickelodeon and Paramount can watch Amazon rank in the doe with these sets and releasing them on they're streaming service. It's kinda ridiculous to see a major company just throw money away and drop the ball on making it's fans happy. But I guess I have to say the same about Disney Channel. And why in the world would Nickelodeon and Paramount give Walmart great treatment with physical releases, but not give them rights to sell in HD on VUDU, it makes no sense! There's tons of companies making bank on selling their content, but Paramount and Nickelodeon seem to not want essentially free money.

I bought a ‘box set’ which only has 1-5 in 2 volumes and I’m so mad! I feel ripped off 🙁 it was $35 AUD but I feel like if I went through amazon I can get the last 5 Seasons I need 6-10

The Amazon releases are official...not bootlegs. They are DVD-R discs, but they are officially released. They will not be available for much longer, however, since Amazon is discontinuing that service in June.
