Very interesting, in that my ears work. I had previously just watch your review of the Deity mic. I was aware of the lack of low end roll off. In your studio i immediately identified which mic was which, based upon that experience. Additionally interesting was... In your studio my ears preferred the movo. In the baby's room they sounded the same. Outside the Deity sounded better. You mentioned in the Deity review, you felt it was tuned for outside, run and gun, interview type use. The environment comparisons absolutely proved that to me.

Just dropping by to say I'm so glad I found your channel. I was searching for a review of the RODE Wireless GO II and I narrowed the results for the last month or so and bingo! Subbed! Now to slowly watch all the content over the holidays since I am looking to seriously upgrade my audio.

An awesome video as per usual, Brian! 😁👍👍 As ever, I appreciate you for going into such a high level of detail & thoroughness with your comparisons. 😄👌
Personally, to my untrained ears (I’ve been wearing my earbuds throughout this demo) I find that I very much prefer the side of mic A which I find is much fuller, richer, natural and warmer sounding.
As opposed to mic B which while it sounds good it’s a lot quieter and lacks a lot of presence alongside sounding a lot lush punchy, rich warm & detailed in comparison.
Quick side note: I understand that audio is very subjective. Plus, I understand that people’s thoughts and opinions will differentiate on what sounds the best to them along with what their intended use case scenario when it comes to audio equipment.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that mic A was the Movo and mic B was the Deity. Initially I thought the Deity was A and B was the Movo. 😲🎙

Ha! Isn't it crazy? I've done dozens of blind comparisons and people always choose the Movo.

I was going to get the MVX but realized for what I am using it for, the double would be better as i am using it for benind the scenes shots with behind the camera talking.

What would be the difference in switching between camera mode and phone mode when using on go pro? any difference in audio?

I prefer the movo over the diety. The movo is Fuller to me

I will say from both a vlogging perspective I’d personally opt for the D4 Duo as you can still capture your voice in high quality irregardless of which direction the camera is pointing.
Also, I can see the Duo being useful for overhead camera style unboxing videos. In addition to this, the inclusion of a 3.5mm audio Jack could be used to plug in a Lav mic if the situation called for it. 😄👌🎙
