1st time to see Daniel in a video outside if the podcast. Great review as always, though I think the device is so much larger than I need, actually was discussing this in the forms, a 4.5 inch 920/ 925 design with 1520 specs would be THE phone to beat.

The upgrade to 8.1 installed flawlessly and the thing I love the most is that it doesn't get slow with time, like all my androids have. I also have a 520 and being on the other side of the specter (small, low specs) I must say it's an entry level phone that performs as well as any of its bigger brothers. Nokia's manufacturing is tops, great phones, great cameras, and the WP OS is a nice change and since it's still a bit young it's totally open to improvements.
Daniel, that was a good review although I would have appreciated seeing the storyteller app. I like how natural the presentation looks by leaving in some of the narrating mistakes. Good job bro

My only complaint with Verizon is their lack of support for the Windows Phone. I have very few choices and Verizon's implementation of WP updates through rollouts is a joke. I got so frustrated with it that I had to bypass Verizon and use the preview for developers. 8.1 Lumia Black has still not made it for the 928! This phone is gorgeous and eventually I may be tempted to make the switch back to AT&T.
Spoke to Nokia tech help about the poor performance of the video camera (mainly in low light) and the huge amount of noise this phone picks up, his reply "oh no one has said anything, we have not heard of this" how is that possible? turn it on in doors and look at the screen...simple. There are reviews that speak of this and not happy with the picture, and there are some Vs reviews where lesser/older phones beat it hands down in this area, so how can they be so blind, this phone needs a camera update to help reduce the noise (few other bugs too) Anyway the more people that contact them the sooner they will sort this.....I thought Nokia were top of the class in this area.
Today I went into the Microsoft Store and checked out the 10 20 and 15 20 and the 15-20 just won me over. This phone is fast and smooth but the only thing that lags well no maybe lags is the wrong word to use but transitions from landscape to portrait mode are slow and not snappy but thats not due to lag it's just the transition within the software and I wish it was just snappy instead of making it look dramatic. The screen is amazingly bright and easy to read for obvious reasons and the camera was awesome just like they say in the review faster than a 1020 but having 20 megapixel as opposed to 41 is definitely not a deal breaker at all. Everything about this phone in a software standpoint is polished from top to bottom. There are some impressive things software wise about Windows Phones & what they're doing it's a shame people put them down and that's mainly due to their history of being unreliable and buggy. I'm a former iPhone user and current HTC 1 user and I'm going to try to switch to this phone as soon as possible.

I currently have an iPhone4s and the camera broke on it recently. I don't know why the camera won't function any more ? My iPhone4s is not broken physically it is a software issue with the camera. Every thing else works fine on my iPhone4s. When I am eligible for my upgrade I am thinking of switching to a windows phone because I think the screens on the iPhones are to small for me.

I think the windows OS is very good for three years . I love it but I do miss a central notification center and some features I would got on android . Windows OS wise is treated like how apple treats IOS very closed off. But more like googles android when it comes to companies making devices 😊

I think you should choose red one. Although it is glossy, it is still magnificently beautiful. But others are beautiful too.

I've the Lumia 1020 & 1520 now,but the 1020 is more powerful than others cuz consider handy and good camera also consistansy firmware.

A bit too big for me. But the phone itself looks fantastic. WP8 only missing couple of good apps (not too many) and a CENTRAL notification..

IPS LCD for a 6 inch is seriously as good as you'll get. Not to mention 1080P Res. Go check out the phone in person, the display will BLOW YOU AWAY :)
