@@andrereacts7 My dad was a Marine in WW2. He spent part of the time in Okinawa and in China. Said he was 5 miles from the wall. I stupidily asked him if he had seen it. He gave me a dark look and told me "I had other things to worry about" he seldom talked about the war

'fighter' means aircraft to aircraft fighting. while 'attack' means attacking ground and sea targets....
Simple explanation:
Fighters are Air to Air.
Attackers are Air to Ground.
Multi-Role can do both.

Us military is all volunteers. The draft is still there but hasn't been used since the Vietnam War

These videos are some of the worst analysis when it comes to military power. When people ask "how did everyone get Russias military strength so wrong" it's because of videos like these. Where the logic behind them is: "big number = strong because that's what we were taught in 4th grade XD"
Hi, André. We have so many veterans in our family, especially on my dear husband's side, that I can't name them all.
Our eldest son served almost 10 years in the US Navy, Submarine Service, AKA, "The Silent Service " You won't know they are there until it is too late.
I learned that submarines act as the "guard dogs/watch dogs" for the carrrier groups.
I don't know how many ships & subs (called, "boats" in the Navy) make up a carrier group.
Our son was on the smaller, Los Angeles Class submarine type. Just over 100 on board (exact # not public knowledge).
Our son is a Nuclear Power Engineer, ran the power plant on the sub. Now has an excellent job, has become a teacher in the field, after finishing his service a few almost 10 years ago.
Husband was tank crew in the US Army, back in the mid-1970's. Nephew is in Army Intelligence. Etc.!

There’s a video I don’t think you’ve covered yet, it’s mainly a tank battle. But it was the battle of 73 Easting. I think you’d enjoy it. It occurred in desert storm. Shows how good the Abrams and Bradley really are.
Russia has the most nuclear weapons at over 6,000. Like the US, most of these are in storage. China has about 300, but are building more.

Cavitation gives away the type of sub. A US Navy person I met stationed on Whidby Island (sp?) near Washington State received a commendation for detection of Russian a Russian sub 3000 miles away.
Just to put things into perspective, the US has provided Ukraine with just 38 HIMARS launchers. Yet, you can find numerous videos of them taking out huge numbers of various types of targets, including SAMs, command centers, airfields, ammo dumps, bridges, barracks, etc. The US has thousands of these between the US army and marine corps. Another example are Bradley fighting vehicles. Ukraine has received less than 200 of them, yet they are credited with holding the Russian army that’s significantly larger to a slow crawl. In contrast , the US has around 6,500 of them. There’s a huge separation in power and between the US and Russia, which is growing even larger as Ukraine destroys more and more Russian equipment every day.

Attack aircraft includes Bomber. fighters are a different category
A corvette is just basically a baby destroyer. That's all. But keep in mind, you can cram more stuff into an SUV than your can a corvette. Corvettes are faster than Destroyers and are basically the pointmen for a platoon. Don't quote me on this. Just basic logic.

This may have been answered already but...
There is a difference between fighter aircraft and attack aircraft. Fighter aircraft are designed to go head to head with other aircraft in the sky. Attack aircraft are designed To attack ground-based targets.
F-22 Raptor (F=fighter)
A-10 Thunderbolt (A=attack)
Some aircraft perform both roles and are designated as "F/A", such as the F/A-18 super hornet.
Regarding Nukes. Russia has the Most nukes and the largest, America has the best nukes, most advanced nukes. China does have nukes but they have a few hundred >500, Frances has 200 n change, the U.K has just under or at 200 and then Pakistan has over 100. Then India with over 100, Israel with under 100 and last and probably the most scary is North Korea with around 50. Only Russia and US have actively deployed nukes.
These numbers are rough estimates as different websites have different numbers. The US and Russia numbers may be off by a few hundred and the rest may be off by no more then 100 for countries that have over 200 and off by the 10's in countries with less.

Andre! Your interest in our military is amazing! As you have seen, our country is constantly working on being the best equipped military in the world...WHY? Well, my country is the only one who comes to the rescue when another country is in peril....a few others do, but the help is minimal...and the USA usually goes as far as is safe and effective. And those others who the video mention are historically always trying to catch up. Why? Mostly for aggressive intentions and actions. Does Ukraine, and Taiwan ring any bells? The USA has always stepped up to the plate with a huge bat, and prepped to hit a home run. God bless America. I love your love of my country! Yo Andre, attack aircraft would be planes like the A-10, AC-130 gunship, and I'm guessing their bomber fleets, so much missing though, drone numbers which are now crucial to any war, all armoured vehicles, robotics, unmanned technology and so on, but I imagine the video would take hours to describe the U.S.A's full capabilities

Of countries that shoot each other if any country try to invade their guns is gonna turn on them.
I don't think most people realize the technology in the nuclear missiles that submarines carry. They will talk about how Ohio class submarines can carry up to 20 Trident II missiles. While most people will think, "wow, 20 nuclear bombs is scary". What most people don't realize is depending on how you want it set up each missile carries multiple nuclear warheads. The missile will get the nuclear warheads in the direction of the targets. It will at some point break apart so that each individual warhead which has it's own target that you program it to hit will fly in different directions to hit it target. One set up is that a single Trident II missile will carry 8 warheads where each has a 475 kiloton warhead. Just as a reminder, Nagasaki was 21 kilotons. So just imagine, they shoot 1 missile and it means the destruction of 8 cities. There are other setups so you could have more warheads with less kiloton in a single Trident II missile so it all depends on the mission. The land based missiles called Minuteman 3 are designed in a similar way. Aircraft Carries are the symbol of power in the Navy but submarines are the real danger to our enemies.

Not all carriers are always available for deployment due to factors such as maintenance, sea trials, or updates, so the exact number can fluctuate depending on the situation.

The 9 US "Helicopter Carriers". We call them Amphibious Assault Ships, and are a close equivalent of the world's Navy's Carriers except the French and Indian Navies. Russia gave up and China isn't close to having one yet. Fighter cap, HMS Queen Elizabeth: 36. USS America, LHA-6 (not CVN for carrier): 30.

The Cinese discovered a bunch of their nukes had water instead of fuel for making their missals fly. It seems they had a problem with some of their contractors skimming. so a lot of their nukes and other stuff doesn't work correctly. In modern warfare, air forces are the most important. Aircraft are needed to protect ground or surface assets. Aircraft carriers rand ships require aircraft to protect them. Without air power, the navy is far more vulnerable. Also, fighters and attack aircraft are very much different. Attack aircraft are used for supporting and defending ground troops, taking out naval ships, tanks and armor, fuel storage, radar stations, infrastructure, and other assets. Fighters are for defending airspace in air to air combat, escorting bombers, escorting attack planes, intercepting intrusions, and in modern times, fighters do attack ground targets as well. If you put an attack plane against a fighter, the fighter will smoke the attack jet.
