As a Clemson fan, I agree. I hate it when a bad referee call puts doubt on a win, and that phantom offside call was terrible. UNC would have needed to do a lot in that last minute just to tie the game, but I want to see the players win the game, not bad calls.
Still would have loved to see the Heels go down and score after onside kick recovery, no doubt UNC scored 6. Probably fail 2 pt attempt but it sucks when refs impact a game in such a negative way. Not only taking away some great drama in final minutes but unfairly taking away such a great opportunity and experience possibly for the players in the North Carolina locker room. SMFH

The ref, not the camera were straight down the line to make the call. It the angle of the dangle 😆 🤣 😂 😹. The commenter's didn't have the perfect angle.

@@ericpackers1700 2016 team was slightly better. They got WR Mike Williams back, and the offense was more explosive. 2016 defense was slightly less talented (losing Shaq Lawson, McKenzie Alexander and Jayron Kearse), but played more disciplined and had fewer blown coverages.
