Girl! Your hair is so beautiful. Honestly seeing your hair breaks my heart a little bit. My hair was the exact same texture as yours and we were about the same in our hair journey. Unfortunately it all fell out from chemo last year. Its finally starting to grow back now, but it has changed so much. I'm a bit frustrated with it, doesn't seem to be growing at the same rate as before, but I am still having a lot of medication which has an effect. I have no idea where to start again, I dont know what products to use, or even how to style this twa, you looked so beautiful with yours! Thanks for this video, looking forward to long, big hair again. 😊

Isn't it humid there? Try products with glycerin. It should help pull moisture from the air and out it in your hair.

Your hair has gotten so long since I’ve been watching you. Amazing. Ours used to be the same length then all of a sudden yours was growing like weeds 😭
I’m new to styling my natural hair so I’m trying out wash n go’s with my mid week wash. It is not easy, but I feel that’s the one “thing” that will keep me from staying natural is not being able to style my TWA. So I’m going to keep at it especially since we’re still in that stay home situation. My goal is to have a few products and have a technique down that works for me by the time I’m able to get out and about again.

I don't actually - just fluff my hair with my hands once my hair is dry! As for drying, I air dry mostly and then diffuse the rest of the way (as necessary)
I do a protein treatment every 4-6 weeks. Works well for my hair!

I've deep conditioned with EVERY wash for the past 5 yrs & trim every month. Also, I deep condition with a heat cap that I put in the microwave. My hair lasts from wash day until the next but I do like to refresh the next day or so after wash day because it gives me more volume after I touched it up.
I did the big chop 3 months ago. I currently cowash & deep condition twice a week. Can you discuss a weekly regimen that has the moisture protein balance for such a scenario meaning washing twice a week. Moisture/protein balance sounds like a good 4-6 month hair challenge to me.

When my hair was longer i sucked at sectioning it. It took way too much time and at that time i worked 12 hour shifts so I had no time to do it and it made me just dislike my curls because it was too much (which in the end made me relax my hair) but I cut it off last year and Im hoping this time I can handle it with working from home now xD

How can I retain hair length my hair ends are always thick and bushy. Once my hair reach shoulder length its breaks off. When I blow dry my hair the hair ends are smooth and bushy ends are gone. I only blow dry about once every 3 months. Help..... I need to retain length...!!!!! I have no scalp issues my hair grows very well.
You need a trim every 3-4 months rather than blow drying. That is the bushy ends issue. Also, protective styles are the easiest way to retain length. I actually started doing protective styles rather than deep conditioning weekly, and my hair grew inches over the fall! I will shampoo, condition, and apple deep conditioner to it. Then use a hot head. After I removed the hot head, I’ll either cornrow, or put my hair in twist. Keeping them for 3 weeks. Then repeat. Good luck!
