I only recently learned that Wayne was offered the role of the Waco Kid. Demolition Man came out in 1993. Speed was released in 1994. I'd say the first movie was her breakout role, but the second one made her a star.

Any chance of getting someone who can read a script properly to narrate these things? Apart from calling Gene Wilder in Blazing Saddles "the WHACKO Kid" 🤣 multiple times, she says it was "doubtfully painful for [Sean] Young" to miss out on the role of Catwoman. It should obviously be "DOUBLY painful", seeing as how that meant it had happened to Young twice (given that she had to pull out of the first Batman movie as well).
