Getting back into the grinding this week. Finally buying a PEN Laytenn was big motivator and it's good to see you back to doing CZcams vids, to help me keep up to date with these spots. Glad to see Hexe should be my go-to spot for yellow+agris while I gear up for Yzrahid with non-Debo stuff. Looking forward to your Heilang guide.
Unfortunately 2 of the items here - despairs and sun shards - that could sell are "blocked" in the market and they make like 30-40% of the income (you could keep and make the vell upgrade stones but these were bottom price on EU for e.g. last time I checked - 4b). Well, I tried the spot and after I piled up a lot of these and even right now are sitting on market...Moved to Trolls and guess this could be only Calpheon Elvia spot viable even with somewhat no value from despairs, due to having at least 900m guarantee only in trash. Maybe ideea for next vid, Trolls and how they are doing in terms of silver :)
Forgot about Garmoth Global data lol ... it's 23k trash avg and 1.2bil/h I wonder how much better this gets on servers with better priced despairs o-o Maybe i should note here that for me ALL DESPAIRS SOLD ... 2-3 weeks ago that is , now they seem to be minlisted again so it may be much harder nowadays = maybe less viable to spend a LOT of hours here :/ At least i can claim this is most likely the best money spot if u wanna grind for EXP xD
Could you make a video talking about builds and damage calculations for high money-making zones? For example, swapping the main weapon to increase race-specific damage. Alternatively, a video explaining how we could do it ourselves, explaining the logic behind swapping gear.
I have heard about the rings before through Reddit. I think someone was asking for all species damage because lighthouse sets didnt have the animal damage. I believe someone said that all species damage on pieces was pretty limited and also suggested the rings for the animal damage.
from what i heard this is kind of the only spot where topaz rings are worth it , since only elvia has this 5% AP cap , otherwise even with 30% caps u still dont wanna lose so much sheet ap , i barely get 900ap when otherwise on full gear i prob can get 1050 or smth like that , thats a lot even on 30% cap spots
would love for you to try Elvia Quint Hill, unfortunately Dehkia spots were mostly disappointing for me (either not good or annoying to grind), but i like Elvia Trolls, super chill gameplay and nice money.
Hey Duo, appreciate the content. Just tried this whole “skip mobs after big guy explodes tactic” in Marni. It may work for lower geared people, but I clear faster than the guy respawns. Running Marni actually gimps my trash/hr
Yeah i have 2 pens since 1 1/2 year and used them when hexe was the best spot in the game. You can also use the topaz rings in c7 black shrines if you do them, they also can boost your dmg if you reach the ap cap with them.
@@ecko2496 you have to reach the cap with the rings on, which is 921ap on c5-c7. just on imogie you cannot get more speed trough gear ap. that boss is "hard capped"
idk , i assume it will make a tiny difference but tri should be more than enough investment for just 1 grind spot , i would even be fine with duos , i got both my tris through preorders over time
As cool as I think u are Duo, mounted tamer gameplay makes my soul ache. Artfully dodging the core upside of the game (well designed combat) so much it hurts to watch. I still watched the whole video but I felt like letting u know it hurt.

Heres your guide: Play the class properly. Mounted is extremely inefficient and only useful on very dangerous spots where you don't care about being optimal, you just want to make sure you don't die. Idk why he would go to the effort of cheesing hexe with the rings but still choose to play the class in the least efficient way possible.
You were the choses one, Duo! You were supposed to destroy the mounted riders, not join them! In all seriousness though, mounted heilang combat can be funny in PvP and cheese people, but it is very, very bad in PvE. I love your spot breakdown videos, and I love that you enjoy a lesser-desired aspect of the Tamer kit (mounted heilang); the problem is that they do not go well together. You are missing out on all the real fun of the kit in the succession Bolt/Jolt/Roar/Surging Tide AoE onslaughts and awakening's ability to fly between packs and engage/disengage in PvP. If you are looking to give spots the in-depth reviews you used to do, I would only use data when you are not mounted. :( Enjoy yourself though- it is a game after all!
just consider it a 10-20% slower class , that's what i do , i know gameru gets 32-33k trash/h on her sorc here , which is basically about 10% faster than me , other than that there is no difference between me and other classes , i should remember next time to properly scale up stuff by about 10-20% to show better speeds , for me 30k seemed pretty good here considering garmoth's best class does 27k on avg xD still i get your point , i find it chill and fun , i did play succ a bit , i know a combo and i did user her a bit here and there , mostly gyfins , heilang just is ... special :p
@@Duodecil I totally feel that. I admittedly used it to cheese Crypt long ago before they changed it up and before debos/item simplification were performed. It was a lot slower, but also safer. That being said, doing some scaling in your calculations so people can also see what a player could potentially get when playing another char/spec could be good. I've learned that Garmoth averages aren't the best to run off of; you might need to dig deeper by going into their submissions per class. Even then, like you mentioned in this video, there is a large difference between doing Hexe in marni or normally. That can offset the Garmoth average by a lot and often times people do not note whether they use Marni or not. People may also restrict access to their notes or buffs/gear. As always, keep on submitting your videos! I enjoy how in-depth you go and with commentary. Maybe even some videos of you goofing off could be refreshing in the future.
Despairs are way too dead i am afraid. Perhaps they will be usable with the new Fallen god weapons then it'll revive the spots for sure but for now it's just better alternatives
i sold all of mine but could also be luck , i also didnt grind here that much , maybe 12h total , and i sold them about 2 weeks ago if it matters xD but yeah sux that they couldnt be bothered to revive them , i brought it up at some point that they could just allow it to be used as dehkia fuel , that's one way to fix the problem if it is more efficient than accessories

depends , mostly wRMB(1hit,applies built in DP debuff) -> ShiftE(ok dmg , good for addons and cancels into ShiftF) -> ShiftF(or dash sideways to cancel into it if i need to reposition or i skip ShiftE , this is your best DPS , all 3 hits) -> wRMB(again to reapply back att/crit addon and debuff new mobs) -> sRMB(u can spam it but rly only need 2-3 casts to restart the loop , your second best dps skill). you can replace the second wRMB if u want with ShiftQ , just cuz ... idk , its same bad dmg bug bigger aoe , i have repeat addons just in case Q is worthless ShiftRMB kinda worthless too but can be useful to reposition instead of the dash but i never rly use it , also poop dmg like ShiftQ and Q

Clickbait vid , disliked. Duo is from EU so he KNOWS that despairs don't sell. Elvia Calpheon is TRASH as long as despairs are worthless , you shouldn't grind there.
If you're going to go to all the effort of displaying all these stats and even go so far as using situational gear like topaz rings to min max you may want to either play tamer normally or do it on another class. Mounted heilang is and always has been a gimmick. It's not in any way efficient and any data you create using it is gonna be totally useless to most people. The only time you should be using mounted heilang is at extremely risky spots in which you care more about not losing crystals than pulling decent numbers, or briefly to learn a new spot and its attack patterns.
He doesn't need your permission to play his characters how he wants to play them. He always says you can kill faster playing it differently... or by playing a different class, he likes the tankiness of the mounted combat. The numbers are largely irrelevant outside that he tests all the spots with the same build/playstyle so you are getting a comparison between the results here and all the other places he has tested. If you think you can kill stuff 10/20/30% faster then unless the speed factor causes spawn issues you can just multiply his results by a speed differential factor. I like the videos and appreciate the information even though I don't play a Tamer.

Why do you introduce misinformation? Mobs on the spot do not have vulnerabilities to buffs of the type of attack against races, they are animals, and against this there is no buff, so the rings do not work there. There, the main role is played by attacking monsters and special attacks. I've been on this spot for more than 50 hours and I think I know what I'm talking about.

I honestly can't tell if that last line was a meme or not but you may want to do another 50 before making such a condecending statement. Topaz rings do work against animals. However its questionable if its worth it given its only relevant for hexe. In my build if I replace a pen ring with a pen topaz it gets me about 8% more damage at hexe, but its very specific to hexe because the AP cap is so severe. At anywhere else which is an animal based spot and has a more normal ap cap instead of 5% like hystria or kratuga its absolutely not worth it.

Just craft Vells upgrade Stone with the despairs and it will sell same day. In that way Despairs can definetly be counted and sell.

first time grinding here with 304 AP and 375 DP, destroyed 4 crystals in an hour :)
Yeah the mechanics feel really overwhelming at first but the more you do it the easier it is to avoid damage
