Solid haul today from Aquarium Outfitters! I have dropped by monthly for the past year, and today the neocardina shrimp jumped out. Got a 10 pack of Goldens and Blue Dreams due to the striking quality. Grabbed 5 dumbo tail females to create a sorority, as the tank at the shop was impressive. I have to attempt to re-create! Thanks Chris and AO Team! Oh, great video and thumbnail!! Solid content of the inventory and concise information. Keep it up!

I bought three female bettas here that Chris told me had shared the same tank for a week. I put them in my well planted 20 gallon tank and one was killed by the other two who then started attacking each other. Bettas are solitary and aggressive fish and a betta sorority is very hard to do and definitely not for beginner fish keepers.
I’m sorry to hear that Debra. Your right keeping sorority tanks can be more difficult especially for beginners.
Having a *slightly* over stocked tank of any type of aggressive fish is beneficial to reducing aggression. I’ve kept large predator fish for a while now and I always have aggression issues when I have 3-4 fish in one tank. A healthy balance usually happens somewhere around 5+ in my experience.
@@philipmorris6782 I had several dither fish and hoped that would help but ultimately it didn't. Chris is wonderful and I love this store but sometimes a sorority just doesn't work. I'm glad you've been successful.
