Tsmc is the gold standard for leading edge chips. I was picking from Amd,nvidia and tsmc in 2019. I chose amd, should have picked nvidia but currently I have positions in all 3 companies. All solid.
I think they may absolutely crush. I’m excited for their earnings. I do not own TSM.

Hi Parkev, just a question, with the recent market reaction to Trump statement regarding Taiwan "should pay for US protection" & "it is stealing our chip business", how diversified TSM really is? I'm just preparing for the worse case scenario because Trump is becoming an actual risk acting as a catalyst for this already known geopolitical tension between Taiwan and China.
Hi Julius, TSM is trying to diversify, but they are still very concentrated in Taiwan.

Think it's just common sense if a company is teasing at a premium before earnings don't buy as bad to medium earnings and growth report could send the stock tumbling. Equally exceptional reports can have the opposite effect. But from an investor perspective I'll wait for a dip

$TSM and $ INTEL are going to be the bloodline of the 2nd wave of the tech age. Intel is working on developing 5 different chipd designbs and saw news their software services is growing at a good rate according to a recent interview. Intel however looks primed for a jump to $37-40 if they show faster than expected progress or confirms the software growth in the upcoming earnings.
Parkev, about $TSM does your PE take into account the additional growth/revenue expected from upciming factors in Japan, Germany, and US?
I would say most likely yes long-term with factories they building outside Taiwain

Diversification provides some protection. Putting some money in certificates of deposit also helps.

I agree overall BUT I have to point out that almost ALL Tech companies are at a all time high. Amazon,Tesla,NVDA,ASML,TSM.... The year has been so good that even those whore are not in AI were pushed higher.

only crashes if people take out and do not put back in ...The other day people put back in ....even crash on 2008 if you kept buying after 3 years later you trippled as long as its 4 5 real good stocks you picked not 20....not financial advice lol
