Crossbow and throwing knife could be a solid stealth combo.
Maybe throw in one of the MGs as a support for when things get rough.
Or could fill your loadout with strikes & sentries and hardly ever engage enemies directly.
Add in a jump-pack for higher mobility and reaching sniping/vantage points on rocks buildings etc

I kind of wish there would be a way to incorporate pincered planets, or planets that have been surrounded/ been caught in the middle of an enemy offensive and are cut off from friendly lines. You you gotta save them before they are lost.

Use the explosive crossbow, grenade pistol, autocannon, eruptor or grenade launcher.
@@teecee1827 I typically use the quasar so it's not a big issue, grenades are still better though
Honestly... giving up grenades for stunning targets or destroying locations is a steep cost to get a cool way to remove lone fodder targets.

Yeah the March 6th patch fucked stealth hard. A partial alert from just noise has them INSTANTLY call a drop, even if they haven't seen you.

Fun fact:
While it may be a bug (ha), the K-2 has no stat block. This led me to test something. Long story short, the K-2 MASSIVELY benefits from increases to melee damage.
Between using Peak Physique and the Experimental Serum, I've managed to drop Brood Commanders with 2 knives, and a Devastator with one (admittedly incredibly lucky) knife to the faceplate.
This thing is fucking awesome.

I would settle for an armour in a future warbond called Liberity's Shadow with a twin fitted curved reaper blades that deploy when you melee bash holding whatever weappon. It gives you a + 20 on enemy radar non-detection and +50 on melee damage. All black with a pale faded yellow hazard stripping trim. A hooded scout style helmet with a neon green strip. Giving you automatic you light intensification in dark environments with a yellowish green filter. And course a black cape with fading setting or rising yellow burnjng sun on back that forms at the bottom into a Diver's Skull with a dagger point at the bottom jaw/teeth.
Imagine rocking that with the throwing knife and explosive cross bow

Iâm not sure if they fixed it, but throwing the knife while undetected will alert the enemy of your position.

If Iâm in a bind and Iâm out of ammo Iâd rather have 4 grenades than 8 knives. These things are terrible.

It's not meant to be a good weapon. It's meant to be a shoutout to starship troopers. It's just a fun thing to use. It's not meant to be a killer lol. I love it.

Well I wonât be using it because it has little to no real impact on doing better in operations. The knife is the biggest joke of a weapon they could give us unless it completely replaced our regular melee.

Helldive difficulty is now pointless unless you need medals. With the new update you can get the same rewards on difficulty 7 and slightly less medals than helldive.

This item does not have any stealth. The second you use it, it alerts all enemies as though you shot at them. It also doesn't 1 shot small enemies unless you headshot/crit shot them. So it's not stealthy, and is as strong as the weakest base guns in the game.. Just stick to grenades. At least they won't alert enemies automatically.
Throwing knife is pointless against bots. They see it in the air and will always alert others.
After finishing the main season do you have to use medals to unlock all the other seasons before unlocking this one ?
There aren't really "seasons" in this game. There are warbonds, 1 of which you get for free when you get the game. All the other warbonds can be bought for 1000 super credits per warbond. You can buy whichever warbond you want and spend medals on it regardless of your progress in any of the other warbonds.
Tl;dr
No, you don't need to own or finish any of the other warbonds before starting progress on this one.
You only need 1000 SC to buy it and then you can spend your medals on the warbond.

no. you don't even have an aiming reticle, so you're gonna miss A LOT, and it travels slow. they need to improve it, a lot of people are going to be disappointed by its awkward performance when they unlock it.
On the bright side, it does do lots of damage (one shots common light enemies) if you do manage to land a clean hit.
let us pick up throwing knives off the ground. more people should be asking for this.

Those knives are complete fuckin garrrrrbage they don't even go where you throw them they are so inaccurate it's a joke. They are only useful if you are trying to do a stealth run while you're solo and even then good luck getting them to go where you want when throwing
