Ps: they didnt actually give Ahab a new dialoge just change the translation in the cutscene. The translation isnt wrong tho since it can be translate both way
@@hello.9958 When starting combat, Ishmael says "All my fault you say? What fault? I daresay it's all thanks to me" And yes, the dialogue does change when fighting she uses her ego. It goes from "I am Captain Ahab, and I shall be Ahab evermore!" compared to "Once an Ahab... Shall be Ahab evermore!", as in, Ahab is recognizing that Ishmael is also Ahab in that identity, so she will always be like her no matter how much Ish rejects it.
i got into limbus a few weeks after this canto was release and playing through this one was probably my favorite even though i still cant fully understand some mechanics

It actually is. She gets a unique buff if you fight ahab with captain ish. 15 sanity gain per turn
