Do you need an adjustable gas block?

There’s a short video on why I went to an adjustable gas block on my AR.
I use a Superlative .750 low profile gas block.
Before the adjustable block, my shell casings were being ejected about the 1 o’clock direction , I wanted them where they should be about three to 4 o’clock. This got me back into where the rifle is properly gassed.
Wasn’t hard to set the gas block. Did it in about 12 rounds?
