I am always saying WE GOT THIS in real life and online. We all have our own struggles and I believe we can get through anything together. When I was diagnosed with cancer in September, I thought this was my own struggle but I realised my cancer has affected everyone around me. I am a daughter, a girlfriend, a sister, a friend, a cousin, a grand daughter & more. I know my journey has affected everyone around me and I know now more than ever that I have no choice but to get better. Whatever life throws at us, we are going to get through it together. I am so in love with your mother 💙. I am old enough to be your grandmother! A couple of things I have learned in my 70 years on this planet: always listen to your body. If it says sleep, do so. It will even out in the end. Enjoy being up and out. Walking is good to regain strength. Drink as much water as you can. As my mother always said it flushes out all the bad stuff and hydrates which we all need.
Tiffany dear you are so brave and resilient with all you have gone through this past year. When the video posted of you waking up from surgery I gasped. I knew you would be in tough shape, but my heart was breaking seeing you in that condition. 💔 you are looking so much better these days. Keep up the recovery at your own pace. Tiffany is so radiant and positive! Watching her chat while cooking with Matt or driving to get coffee is kind of like ASMR! She just has the kind of personality that draws you right in! She is totally a fascinating person and her videos are fun to watch. I mean, I watch the more serious videos too and feel sad, but her energy and optimism even in those is incredible!

I hate to add ths comment, but it is illegal to be in a car without a seat belt unless you have a medical exception certificate. Would hate Amma to get a fine or point's on her licence if you got stopped or were in an accident. Xxx
Both scans at once. That's good! It's interesting what is important when you need to readjust after a big surgery. At one time you might never have been caught in public in frumpy shoes but now having to get perfectly turned out is less important.
As people grow older we make those kinds of adjustments too. Once upon a time I would never have gone out in tennis trainers and a nice pair of slacks with a nice top. Now, I wear them everywhere to save my sore feet from torture as arthritis has become a problem. I once spent a lot of time on makeup and now I only make sure I still have eyebrows. The eyebrow tails have gone away as I got older. Life is a continual series of adjustments. You are doing well adjusting to your new reality. Lovely to hear your giggle again, Tiffany.

Physical Therapist here….It’s best to just lie on your side ONLY for now. You’ll be ok to get an MRI because they will give you plenty of pillows to raise your knees to 90’ flexion, which will raise your bottom off the table because your weight will be on your lumbar ( lower ) spine.❤️from Montreal

Hey Tiffany. You and you’re family are amazing! I understand completely with CT Scans and MRI’s. I had my third MRI on Friday for my own medical journey and luckily they played Heart radio through the headphones. It’s so good to see you smile. 💙💙
When i had my operation down at my buttocks my surgeon suggest to get myself....don't laugh because it was life saving to me. He said get the inner of a mini motor vehicle tyre, the tube of a tyre pump it up and sit on that my bud could not touch any hard sevice as it's like you sort of hang in their. I even took my tube to church and put it in my bath tub when i use my hand shower.
I am so, so happy for your happiness. You pushed yourself today, and maybe did too much. But, it made you happy. Your face says it all. You DO have this. You are a true testament to perseverance in the face of adversity. I feel like we, your Tiffany Thinks Family, sort of act like your group therapy. You tell us how you're feeling and what's worrying you, making you sad, or making you happy. You don't hold back and you pour it all out. This is so healthy. This cancer survivor in NC applauds you. Tiffany you are my biggest inspiration I am laying in the hospital from a dissection of my intestines due to diverticulitis and the whole time here I just think of you and say “we got this” . I'm so glad you made it through your surgery. I really enjoy watching about your life. The day after tomorrow I on Tuesday Feb 28 I am having a triple bypass. Open heart surgery. I pray mine comes out as good as yours.

Thank you all for your sweet and wonderful comments. Unfortunately I got a call at 8am telling me that my surgery was postponed due to two emergency surgeries coming in during the weekend. Now I'm worried that something may happen before I get my surgery.
I'm pretty sure that whether or not you can use a port for a CT has more to do with whether you have a power injectable device or not. I could be wrong, but that has always been my understanding. I've had some type of central line in place (hickman, broviac, portacath, picc lines) for the better part of 10 years and have had countless scans.
I wish I could give Ammah a long warm hug. What a great mom! She's always with you 100 percent. You are so loved, Tiff, by so many and you deserve all that love, sweetie.
Hey Tiffany I just wanted to ask if we are all caught up. I know you had to pre recorded and edit later. Or have I missed the announcement sorry I try to keep up. Glad you are doing well. Take your time I know how depressing it can be not being able to do things. Don’t worry you will get better! Just don’t stress your body out it’s trying so hard to heal from what it’s been through. I had a CT scan with a dye. It truly did make me think I was set down below. Also made me feel very warm suddenly. I had to have one because I had pain for a few weeks in my chest and it unfortunately got worse. So my doctor decided I should have some tests. done. Well they found my Aiorta is double the size it's supposed to be. Instead of two centimetres it's four and a half. So now waiting so see a vascular consultant. I don't know if my Orthopaedic surgeon is going to still want to replace my elbow and shoulder now. It's going to be replaced together. Well I mean the same operation. The replacement s are going to be done eventually in Stanmore Orthopaedic hospital. I'm just at a loss atm Tiffany as to what is now going to happen. Your life and what you have gone through, is beyond anything I could think about. Your a real super super star. I adore your positivety. Your amazing Tiffany..Seeing babies. They make the world a better place bless. God bless you and your dear family😍😍 Love your family Tiffany. They are all so kind and loving. 😍😍😍

Not you’re not correct but I can understand your confusion because Tiffany doesn’t explain much about it. She was misdiagnosed as stage 4 but then she was restaged stage 3. So she was stage 3 no mets, they just check nodules in the lungs but they are probably not mets. She knows her scans results by now but we will have to wait to know them.

Or take it on them anything to keep your baby safe. It's doesn't matter if they are 1 day old or 80. Your mom has a strong spirit and a beautiful soul, and that must be exactly where you get it or learner it. You're both amazing, and you have got this.

I’m glad you got to do the two scan in one day and didn’t have to go back the next day! Glad you had a nice day! I’m not sure if your bottom is still sore but thought in the car a pregnancy pillow might help like one of the big ones that you can position in lots of different ways! We got this💙💙💙💙!

Great that you got to do both scans in one day! Yay! I used to get so sick from the scans so when they tell you to drink a ton of water, do it as it really helps. I used to get wicked headaches from stress before the scans & then afterwards. I'm hoping the results are only good ones! Hugs to you. xo Lisa

I swear the same thing with the Crocs....I resisted getting a pair for years and years, and finally broke down and got a pair a few months ago and now they are my all day every day shoes. I wear them whenever possible. They are so comfy, so easy to put on and take off.

Just an idea about being more comfortable in the car...one is to put the front seat right down and put a duvet down, so you can lie on your side...second idea is put a duvet across the back seat, so that you aren't sitting on the hard seat xx

I know this is TMI but I'm really confused about where your bum scar is and why? How big it is? What surgery they did exactly and what your bottom looks like now? Sorry if it's too personal. I'm so happy you are doing well.
You can Google it . Usually there's a flap of skin from the thigh or similar that just covers everything. Sometines they can do a reconstruction later.
Not being facetious. But a girl I watch on another channel, said her area, reminds her of Barbie’s bottom.

I would get dry mouth from pain meds to!!

I meant to post how someone I personally know had the same exact surgery. She said to tell you to not get into a hurry, or get discouraged. She said it took about a whole year to feel normal again after the surgery, and now? She feels great, and NO cancer!!!

I understand somewhat the sitting thing. After surgery (oc), I couldn’t lay flat on my back (bad disc), couldn’t lay on my stomach. Honestly, sometimes the answer is just time. And I hope you’re getting there (or are there). Once you’re past each healing phase- it’s going to be so fantastic. tick, tick, tick 💙💙💙

@@giovannimaisano9194 they did full hysterectomy and removal of colon/rectum.. she no longer has anus opening & plastic surgery was needed for either vag or anus closure. All seems on track for healing, but timeline for bottom healing could be 6 months or more, because it's hard to keep pressure off it. She has a permanent iliostomy bag (Look it up)
hi Tiffany, so do you have a colostomy bag attached to you? can you go over how you keep that, is there something you wear around your waist that keeps that in tact? stay well.
I think they have a sticky substance to hold them in place tho some have elastic that goes around them
Iliostomy bag is applied with an adhesive & needs to be emptied often and replaced a couple of times a week. CZcams it... There's plenty of videos out there
