- (27 Aug 2018) U.S. President Donald Trump is welcoming the president of Kenya to the White House.
Trump greeted President Uhuru Kenyatta on Monday.
The two are expected to discuss trade and security issues, as Kenya emerges from a period of election turmoil.
Kenyatta is the second African leader to meet with Trump at the White House. Nigeria's president visited earlier this year.
Trump was criticized earlier this year after his private comment about "shithole countries" in Africa was leaked to journalists.
Kenyatta was accompanied by his wife, Margaret Gakuo Kenyatta, and Trump was joined by his wife, Melania.
The U.S. first lady is planning a solo trip to Africa in October.

Ugandan accent, you also have to consider speakers from Urban and Rural areas and speakers who speak with a tribal tongue influence, in Kenya the accent varies depending on the above characteristics
but the general accent in an Urban area does not sound Ugandan, in contrast in Uganda almost everyone sounds the same regardless of region or other factors such as tribe making their accent unique and easily identifiable. In short the standard Kenyan accent sounds nothing like this video or the Ugandan accent

I was so proud to see an African leader as confident, strong and powerful looking as President Kenyatta and I like that he and President Trump were equals, he wasn't there as a victim or begging for anything or asking for help.
