does the hard coat modge podge dull out the stones or the glitter? you don't use something like E6000 to help hold the stones down?

The hard coat underneath does not dull the decorations. But the dishwasher safe on top makes it not quite as glittery compared to unsealed. Everything still shines, though.
I only used the adhesive already on the backside of the stones plus sealer. But But I'd think the extra holding power of a clear glue that works ok with moisture could only improve it!
