I'm getting mine taken out tomorrow, thank you Jesus!!!!
Was it bad? I get mine put in this Tuesday.
@@smickitoad not bad at all. They put me to sleep and when I woke up all was done. You will be super sore for about a week that's all.
That’s awesome! I hate mines!
Congratulations!
@@smickitoad Not bad! For me to help with the soreness after surgery I took must relaxer medicine and the pain was gone! Every now and then if I do too much I feel then I just go chill and sit down somewhere! They told me not to heavy stuff while having the port tho!
Put to sleep to put mine in, and later, put to sleep to take it out. Not what I expected, but I was surprised that at time accessing it. Bummed about that, but 8 years later, I am alive and well.
I had a port put in 3 days ago. I was out for the process, when i came to i felt a little actually minor tenderness at the site. By the second day no discomfort at all. I do not even think of it being there, walk in the part for me.
I just had one inserted yesterday. Will be glad when this is over.
Great video. Thank you.
How is it going? Have you completed your chemo? Are you doing ok?
I had one put in for my chemo because I have small veins (after my first chemo without a port, I had three huge bruises where the IV went in). Having a port made it very simple to administer chemo drugs and to take blood before each chemo to check for the blood counts. I was very glad to have it. My only (minor) issue was that the car seatbelt tended to go right over it, pushing it or rubbing it and causing a mild discomfort. When this happened, I just put an extra piece of cloth over the area and it was fine.
Thank you Dr osere on CZcams for being responsible for the cure of my cancer,l highly recommend you to each and every other person here, Thank you Dr
