As most of you know, I'm an avid fan of the Swift Sport; if you don't all you need to do is browse through most of my videos to find out that fact.
When Suzuki said I could have the car again for a whole week after my adventure to Ireland for the UK launch, I was eager to get driving. As the days went on, it's safe to say I retained all my initial thoughts from the first drive.

I'm 76 : and had many cars over the years :sports and saloons : I've have now a suzuki sport 1.4 of all the cars ì have owned this is undoubtedly the best : absolutely love it :

I've owned mine since November and love it. Managed 51mpg 365 miles out of a 37ltr tank is pretty great.

I have a 18 reg sport : agree with all your saying : I have also have copen 1.4 sorry to say better apart from the umph you get from the suskie sport : guarantee my copen will amaze you
A bold claim Graham! I'd been intirgued to try out a Copen, a very rare car! So rare, I can't recall ever seeing one in the flesh

Modern cars are often being limited in their topspeed via ECU/Software. Normally. cars will run faster downhill until they run into the rev-limiter. That's what I mean. ^^
Ah I get what you mean, good question, something I didn’t really pay attention on to be honest, I’ll be sure to try it and see if it does if I ever drive the car again 👍
Hey, what would be the five things you don't like, or don't like at all ? ;)
I didn't get the time to film it unfortunately but here's my three things I dislike:
1. Exhaust note
2. Engine performance could have been greater to help it compete better with the likes of the Fiesta ST
3. As above, the pricing is too near to the ST making it harder to justify over it

I didn't get a chance to factor into the infotainment system too much as it is the same for all the Suzuki vehicles; as a whole I think it's pretty solid with Apple CarPlay and all the usual features (DAB, Bluetooth) although the touch sensitivity needs to be refined so it's more responsive to touch and make the interface more nicer to look at, but I'm hoping to be back in a Swift Sport in the near future for more testing (more performance/tuning related)

PocketRockets thanks for the quick response, iam looking to buy a new car and it between the Swift sport or a fiesta st line 140hp both from 2018, what would have been your pick? I’m so confused😂
Can't really comment on the Fiesta ST Line as I haven't driven one, but from what I've seen/heard the Fiesta is rather more refined with a higher quality of build quality but personally I can't imagine the Fiesta handling better than the Swift Sport! I'd say test drive both to get a feel but just remember the Fiesta ST Line is around £1.5k more expensive (without optional extras) than the Swift Sport
As for price, if you're financing via PCP, both cars will be pretty competitive so pricing may not be too much of an issue! If you're UK based, use 'coast2coastcars.co.uk' or 'CarWow' to see how much you can get off a brand new car!
Personally, I'd have the Swift Sport over the Fiesta ST Line but then I'd have a Fiesta ST over the Swift Sport (adding more confusion); would you look at a Fiesta ST? Shed loads more power, more equipment and there will be insane tuning options coming rather soon; this is likewise with the Swift Sport as CTC Performance are developing a 200+bhp tuning solution, drop them a follow on Instagram!
You have talent for a great channel, but please find someone who can help you with camera work (important in videos) or try to be a bit creative yourself.
Thanks for watching Peter, I definitely agree with your point but realisitically I already invest my own time and money into the channel so employing a camera guy/editor on top of it isn't viable at this point, although my camera work, creativity and general editing skills have improving since this video

Cheers Peter, appreciate the subscribe! Unfortunately not, I think the content I do have puts a lot of bigger, monetized channels with large brand support to shame in some respects. As being a small channel, it's a continuing struggle to get the ideas I want to do to work as I have to source cars, etc. But videos like my FK8 & EP3 full review and the upcoming Fiesta ST-Line full feature film I have put a lot of time into working to grow the platform more and more! To add on that probably another reason is Maruti assembles or builds the rest of the Swift lineup locally, ex. GL, GLX for instance but the Sport variant is built in Japan, that might be another reason they opted to not offer it in your country I guess.
Yeah another very good point, assembly line is in Japan so would likely be too expensive for Maruti to build a new production line for the Swift Sport platform even though they have the Swift body/chassis already on site
