Plus, it's coming out now that the "powers that be" just didn't like Edward. The fact that he loved Mrs. Simpson was just an easy excuse. Edward wasn't religious and that upset the Archbishop. Edward didn't follow the rules of the aristocracy, so they turned on him too. Also Edward was too popular with the public - especially to middle and lower classes. That upset Churchill. Without the church, his peers and the government supporting him, Edward had to go.
This is not about Balmoral castle. It's about Queen Victoria and her family becoming Scottish. I want to see the inside of this castle.
