I made some kopai today using your recipe but I think I melted the sugar for too long as well as used a bit too much water in pot. Despite this, for some reason when I tasted it, it brought me back to my Toddler days when my mum was around to spoil us with island dishes. Looking forward to attempting other recipes from your videos. Much appreciated

Yup you can it just takes longer too go brown... tip when you add the liquid warm it up cos if u add cold liquid It will spit back at you and burn you.
