- Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share this new 2023 Clean With Me!! WOOP! New year, new messes to clean up haha I was sick for a week, and finally finished the holiday season and birthday season around here! We rounded it off with Avalina's final party bash and now that it's over I really needed to give this place a mother's touch because boy did it need it! Laundry mountains, dirt ALL over the floor, and beyond. every surface. I go pretty hard in Meredith's room but there's still room for improvement! Can't wait to tackle more as the year progresses and I get to declutter and deep clean more spaces. This was just me getting my house in order so I am able to tackle the bigger projects! Thanks for cleaning with me!

When you put the dishwasher pod loose (not in the little compartment for it) the pod dissolves in the hot water during the initial rinse in first ten minutes and then you’re basically washing your dishes with only hot water, no soap. When you put it in the compartment it gets released at the proper time to actually clean your dishes. That tik tok hack is doing you all dirty.

Food poisoning is horrible! I had it shortly after attending a BBQ at my then fiancé’s family’s house. I teased my fiancé by telling him his family was trying to tell him something! LOL FORTY years later and that’s still a joke. I’m glad you’re feeling better!❤️❤️

Kim, I literally say to myself EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND "I'm definitely going to get my life together this weekend." I also say it every January, and then again every September, but mostly once a week 🤣 I'm 43, a single mom, and trying to still figure out what I want to do with my life. GOOD TIMES.

You have FIVE kids of course you have chaos. The last one has really been a challenge to keep as you say my life together. I think as a mother of five you are together pretty well. I don’t think your body lacks exercise but when you go to the gym you have me time and exercise and that’s very healthy.

When we were little (5 kids) we were taught very early to clean up after ourselves. Then every Saturday morning we would all clean, walls, floors, bathroom, everything. After awhile the house was so easy to clean it took an hour if that. Include the kids and make it easy for them to clean. They will be better adults for it😊

😂😂 I’ve done something similar with my crosswave. I accidentally put the tank in but didn’t put the filter in and FYI, doesn’t work well without the filter 😂. I almost had a meltdown moment thinking it just quit working since that thing makes mopping bearable for me lol.

Fruit flies..if you put apple cider vinegar in little glass bowl WITH Saran Wrap covering glass dish…THEN with tooth pick poke holes in Saran Wrap so the flies can get in but they do not get out and die! I put several around the house for quick removal and I usually just keep them out during the season for us in the Midwest.
Kim you should really look into the Dawn the Minimal mom! She has a group the declutter some section a day. She makes it very easy to keep up with the one section a day and I feel like it would really help you.
I’m particularly glad for today’s episode. I’m just getting back to full time work as a nanny & I just feel out of sorts. I watched while I got my own kids out the door for school & I feel a little more ready for work. Thankfully babies don’t really notice when their caregivers have lower energy. (Or that’s what I’m telling myself.)

We live in a townhouse (3 floors, ground, 1 & 2) that has a built-on apartment (I have a disability and can not do stairs). Anyway. My mom designs one day, one whole day, work day of 8H to cleaning the house, and nothing else. She starts 5 to 6 AM and by afternoon she's done. And that keeps it neat and tidy. Do imagine that with kids... you can't do that. You almost have to have to do something daily. But there will come a time when this is easier. I'm 50. My mom is 77. She still does it. Although she broke her foot last November (the 30th, remember it well) and now my youngest aunt (family of 10 kids) is taking over that cleaning task, because sadly I can't do it (leg disability). She went through a non-walking cast, walking cast and is now in some sort of brace contraption / ski boot lookalike LOL. This too shall pass. She is healing beautifully. Broke one of the metatarsals. Poor thing. Anyway, all this just to say I enjoy watching your videos. They help keep my mind off of all the goings on in my house. LOL ;)

Hi Kim... Sorry to hear you were sick. Glad you're better. Just a note, when I use my GFG, I take a large piece of aluminum foil, fold it in half, and line the grill. I spray it with Olive or Avacado Oil. No muss no fuss. Have a happy.
Kim, your cleaning videos are my favorite!! I also had food poisoning years ago when I was 6 months pregnant with our son. It was horrible and I had to spend a night in the hospital so I understand a little of what you went through. So glad you’re feeling better 💜
Just a thought, You need to start teaching your children how to clean up their own room, I’m not judging ,I did the same thing when my children was small, Then when they was older they had no idea how to organize their stuff, They will appreciate it, I love your channel because of your personality, take it a little easier let hubby and kids help,
My mom did everything :( I always tell my kids "only put away what you want to keep, I'll take care of the rest". You want parties and friends blah blah, you have a big role in clean up.

That is why when you put your dish of apple cider vinegar out, with a few drops of dish soap stirred in it a bit, you must cover it with a piece of Saran Wrap. Pull that wrap tight. I’ve even held my edges of Saran Wrap taut with a rubber band. Then you poke little holes all over the top of the Saran Wrap. Bugs get in, the soap coats their wings so they can’t fly. There are a few semi smart fruit flies though. They are the ones that sense the liquid is dangerous, but they end up dying anyway because they can’t get out of the holes.
Just thought I’d share my go to and the rationale for it. Love you, your family and your channel❣️
That vacuum looks amazing, but my house isn't big enough to justify it. :D I use a Rubbermaid spray mop instead (and a separate broom, of course). It works for us!

Kim, you are amazing. I love your energy and your video's. I, too, had a lot of kids. Just a suggestion, do a daily "chore chart" for your three older kids. They are all old enough to be doing some of the basics so you are not so stretched thin. Don't have to have them do all of the housework but one chore a day will help you immensely. You are superwoman letting Avalina have a multiday sleepover. Give yourself some grace, and get rest to recover from the food poisoning.

I got into the "named bottles" shampoo, conditioner etc, I was fed up of wiping the dust off them so I put them away, then I saw somebody had their milk in a jug with a lid, ooh nice I thought I nearly ordered it then I thought it's just another thing to Bludi wash !! I've decluttered this week ornaments and books some Xmas decorations, all to be gone!! 💐

If you’re resting your chin in your hand when you’re in front of your computer a lot, that will cause pimples too. It happened to me a lot and as soon as I tried to be more mindful to keep my hands away from my face, the breakouts stopped. Worth a try 😊

My dear friend Kim I'm a 71 year old Grandma and I'm here to tell you I was a working mom of 3 girls. cleaning house doing laundry (mine was in the garage not attached) 3 times a week. I was never able to get my life together. I was lucky to get things done. LOL You are an awesome woman and I think you have your life together as much as you can with 5 kids a home and trying to do all the things. So my dear take it a day at a time and don't exhaust yourself trying tp get your life together cause from where I'm sitting you are already there. Love you and your family. You are one funny lady and I'm so glad that I found you you make my day so much brighter.
