Considering an RX7 in that condition would cost 15-20k here in the UK I dont think its that bad. Even with shipping costs etc half that price.

So either you pay a shit ton of taxes, in a country with pretty shitty employment options. Or you pay shit ton on shipping, licensing, registering and taxes to get it into another country.

I wish the American car scene was like this. It's impossible to find a good car club on the East Coast. There is so much trash talk, no one is just there for the love of cars.

It's the future - Turbos and temples 2 has just been announced on the MCM Faceballs page - so naturally, I come to watch the 1st again... Back when Marty had hair.
I was 21 when this came out.... Now I'm 30 and I've seen so much in 9 years.... driven so many roads, but I still resonate with this film. I love cars.

Eratiik Never even been to NZ, I live in Australia and the fishing where I live is terrible, I have to drive 5+ hours to get somewhere with good fishing, and even then the fishing there doesn't compare to NZ.

MCM and Roadkill are the two main reasons I want to fix up my little Cavalier, and roadtrip it. Even if it is only around the united states, it's something I would love to do and experience. I see roadtrips like this all the time on CZcams, and it makes me want to go explore.

[NKH] Plymouth Haefeli Yeah it is going strong, it only has 80,000k on it! Just used seafoam to clean it, did the spark plugs, oil, etc. They are not bad cars at all!
Anyone else notice the wheels on the $300 RX7? Those were Nismo LMGT2s! A clean set of those is like $2500.

One of the many things that I really like about Japan is how they sometimes treat their cars as an appliance rather than a show 'n' shine type car.
It's amazing how far camera equipment has come in the last few years, I remember when this sort of thing was amazing looking especially for youtube at the time, I've just got done watching turbos and temples 2 yesterday and it is worlds apart

almost the end of winter but with a fresh 4 feet of snow falling on the ground I find your Turbo and Temple video again to watch. As these years go by this film is still SO enjoyable to watch. Thank you Marty and Moog for enlightening my day when going anywhere here in the mountains of Colorado right now is difficult driving and not too much fun.

As an active service member (USA) who lived in japan for 5 plus years, and fell in love with it all and someone who loves music and passion for things, you can clearly see the passion coming through every scene of this movie/feature.
