What do you do to make sure the light in the buoy stays up and doesnt go down into the water?
…counter-weight the other side. We use galvanized bolts, lead torpedoes, and rebar.
What date was this filmed? I’m trying to figure out lobster spawning season when they’re in the shallows.
Spiny Lobster spawn mid-February through July here in SoCal. The migration (poor choice of a word, we know) to the shallows starts Feb. during the end of our season.
What’s the best pier in SD to catch lobster from?
I have heard that ocean beach pier is the spot. I’m going to try Oceanside pier tonight.
Have you tried crab and shrimp fuel by Pautzke
I use that exclusively up in Oregon for dungeoness crab. Straight miracle attractant 🤙🏼
