NOTE: Be careful when microwaving the sugar. Recipe: 1 Cup of Sugar 1/4 Cup of Corn Syrup 2 TBSP of Butter 1 TSP of Vanilla 1 Cup of Salted Peanuts 1 TSP of Baking Soda
I make this using Patty’s recipe every year. Just remember all microwaves cook a little differently. I reduced the first cook to 3 minutes 40 seconds. My friends and family ask for this every year. I keep 2 batter bowls on hand so I can keep going with several batches. Otherwise you have to wait for the bowls to cool before you use them again. You won’t be disappointed . Quick easy and delicious

Thanks , I’d add 1/2 cup more nuts , love em. I use reg corn syrup. Cookie sheet nothing on, will just break apart the brittle when hard, just bang pan, or use your hands. I do six min. 1000watt mikey.
thanks! what is the best way to clean the bowl out when youre done cooking? it seems like it so jammed on it takes more time to wash the bowl than actually cook the brittle itself. any suggestions?
Boil a pan of water and have that standing by. When brittle is out of container, put the used utensils in brittle container and pour the boiling water on it and let it soak

soak the bowl in very warm water until the sticky falls to bottom of bowl.

I simply fill it full with cold water and let it sits till it dissolves all the sticky
Easy just soak it for a little while . The candy will melt
