Lead guitarist, singer, songwriter for Dire Straits, solo artist and iconic rock legend Mark Knopfler is one of the most successful musicians of the 20th and 21st centuries. As the front man of Dire Straits he recorded 6 albums as well as one of the most commercially successful albums of all time "Brothers in Arms". As a solo artist he has produced 9 albums and has composed and produced many film scores including The Princess Bride, Wag the Dog and many more. He has collaborated and worked as a session musician with a broad range of artists such as Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Elton John, Sting, B.B. King and Bryan Ferry to name a few. Inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame in 2018, it goes without saying that Mark Knopfler is among the most celebrated rock heroes of his generation. In this rare and never before seen interview, Mark gives us a unique glimpse into his early years, his creative process and shares some hilarious stories from his long and storied career.
