I don't think it's ever going to happen It's story is waaay too aggressive on it's stance on religion and it doesn't even reflect the current canon accurately since we've seen some paranormal shit since AC2. Ubisoft would rather not ruffle many feathers and instead try to recreate the AC1 vibe with new titles like Mirage. If they are going to keep this up then I wish we could get at least a direct sequel to AC1 covering the events of the book, with Altair going against Gengis Khan himself.
Despite all the problems involved when it comes to Ubisoft, it certainly is an exciting time to be an Assassin's Creed fan! I just hope they have a solid plan to manage the development of so many projects in so many different studios. Thanks for compiling all the news for us, ATA. Amazing content! 😊
Re: Black Flag Remake: I don't think it needs a remake. Especially since Ubisoft are yet to release any remakes of any games they have announced. We don't have Prince of Persia: Sands of Time or Splinter Cell remakes released yet, and I don't feel they should be trusted to remake anything unless they prove they are capable of doing justice with remakes * Re: Ubisoft Bordeux: I am very curious about what their next game might be. If it's a sequel to Mirage I think there's still a lot of things that can be done, especially after Basim learns about his true self, and before he meets Sigurd. If it's something different, then I would love to see them do a Shao Jun game because she is a very undervalued character by Ubisoft. Her relegation to non-canon stories is a slap in the face to her character, and bringing her back into focus would be great.
in terms of the pc port for ac4, a remake makes perfect sense. visually, it has held up well, but modern machines are literally incapable of running the game with stability. my ryzen 9 7900 + 3080 literally stutters to high hell while trying to run ac4. it's unplayable. higher graphic settings make the game even worse, despite my hardware being more than capable of handling it. they could have fixed this with a title update, but they haven't. HOWEVER, going by ubisoft's current track record, they would most likely butcher the remaster/remake.

ac mirage already looks visually impressive as it's built using ac valhalla's engine, which also looks really good. one of the best looking games to-date. never said THE best, but it's high up there for visuals. gameplay and the game itself though..

Ubisoft needs to stop milking this franchise as hard as they are. AC may be a golden goose, but it will never be able to cover for the fact that the Ubi just can't make an original product to save their lives. I love AC, but let's be honest, too much AC is not going to do the IP any favors.

As for 10:55 of course, but since that team also worked for Odyssey, which I consider the best AC game, from the entire franchise, things can only get better and I'm hopeful that she's right! 🙂

Bring back the same voice actors for black flag so they can record additional lines for additional missions.
