Titan is one of my all time favourite games.
The new game bias is VERY real. I expected more from board game nerds lol.
BGG membership and ratings are growing just as the hobby is growing. For multiple reasons newcomers are more likely to be playing the newer games. So this is the inevitable result. This is better than the hobby not growing though.
